The girl at the front was great and the ice cream was decent but what ruined this experience was the middle aged brunette hair women. She came up to me yelling in German because I was sitting in front of the fan. At first I had no idea what she was saying but after she kept pointing at the fan, I realized what she was saying. She didn’t want me sitting in front of the fan because the fan is for the workers. I told her I didn’t speak German and then she walked up to the sweet girl in the front to get her to translate but the girl didn’t even bother because she didn’t think it was a big deal. If you don’t want people sitting in front Of the fan, how about you install air conditioning! When it’s 95 degrees outside, don’t yell at your customers. I was appalled at how she yelled at me. I’m not sure if this is just how businesses in Berlin are or if that lady is just bitter! I ended up walking out. Think twice before going here! They might yell at you for sitting in...

The best of this ice cream cafe is its location. It has a beautiful view of historical sites. It is quiet and clean. The ice cream itself is mediocre. It is waterish and with crystals. This is a sign that they do not stew it enough and cool it at too high temperatures, but also that they are saving on the amount of dairy used by diluting it with water. No ice cream lover will rank this place high. However, for being in the middle of a top tourist spot, this place avoids being a total tourist trap. The prices are in line with what ice cream costs in other areas in Berlin, and everything is somewhat reasonable. If you are in the area and need somewhere to cool down, this might be an option. Update Juli 2024 Etwas enttäuscht vom Service. 4 Kunden vor mir, 3 Mitarbeiter hinter der Theke und 15 min angestanden. An einem Eisbecher arbeiteten plötzlich alle drei. Ein Kollege schien neu zu sein, dem wurde gerade erklärt, wieviel Sahne er raufzusprühen hat. Die Dame vor mir hatte (ich glaube) einen Schwarzwaldbecher bestellt und sie fragte dann, ob auch das Kirschwasser auf dem Becher sei. Da guckte der Mitarbeiter sie mit großen Augen an und wusste gar nicht was das ist. War natürlich nicht drauf. Sie bekam es dann in einem extra Milchkännchen.

Ich hatte die vegane Sorte Orange/Basilikum, wobei man Basilikum nicht herausschmeckte. Ansonsten hatte ich noch Kokos und Sesameis. Konnte man essen, hat mich aber nicht geflasht. Kugelpreis: 2,20 Euro.

Liebes Team, stellt Leute ein und weist diese anständig ein. Alles in allem ziehe ich von meiner Bewertung aus dem letzten Jahr leider zwei Sterne ab.

Juni 2023 Mitten am schönen Gendarmenmarkt. Top Lage. Self Service, auch wenn man draußen sitzen möchte. Man bestellt indoor und es wird nach draußen an den Tisch gebracht. Indoor gibt es auch Sitzplätze. Eisbecherpreise liegen zwischen 8,50 Euro und 12,00 Euro. Aber es lohnt sich. Ich hatte einen Amarena Becher für 9,50 Euro.
