Shoutout to Serhat (Cero) for making my stay very welcoming and memorable. You went above and beyond in your duties and I had a great time in Berlin because of it. This hotel is situated in Alexanderplatz, 1 minute walk to the train station and U-Bahn lines. You can get to anywhere in Berlin within 30-40 minutes from here. The room I got was extremely small, but it was adequate. I felt I got what I paid for as I got a great rate. I would suggest more towels be given for each room as I ran out of towels very quickly. Also, no phones are in these rooms, so you must call the hotel from your cell phone to contact them. This I think is very odd. There's also not true "American" style air-conditioning in these rooms. They don't cool the rooms sufficiently enough and I had to ask for a fan. I personally like my hotel room freezing cold, but that's not possible in Germany. The views from the rooms are incredible, either of Alexanderplatz or the buildings behind. Not sure if I would stay here again due to the level of tourists in the area (it's very busy) but I would recommend the hotel to visitors to Berlin at least once, especially at the low rates provided. Once again, Serhat, you're a superstar! Thanks for being so nice.

I stayed at Motel One and paid 200€ per night for a 20m² room — far from worth it. Cleanliness: The bedroom was dusty to the point that I woke up with a blocked nose. Dust was visible on the bed, and even spider webs were hanging from the lamp. Bathroom: Only towels were provided — no basic amenities like cotton pads or ear buds products. For this price point, the bathroom felt extremely bare. Noise: The room had constant squeaking sounds, either from ventilation or outside, making it very difficult to sleep. Public areas: In the bar section, the bathrooms had no soap or hand sanitizer, which is unacceptable. For a hotel that markets itself as “budget friendly,” charging 200€ a night for these conditions feels like a scam. If you don’t mind all of the above, there are plenty of cheaper hotels in the area that will likely offer a better experience.

Disappointing stay, especially in regards to the breakfast service. Upon our arrival, we were told that breakfast was available until 11:00 and that we could pay €16 per person directly in the dining room. However, when we went down at 10:45, we were denied access to the full breakfast, even though there were still 15 minutes left before closing, and other guests were calmly eating. No alternative was offered, and we had to settle for the free coffee available at the hotel entrance, despite being entitled to a full breakfast at that price. Additionally, the next morning, we went down at 9:00, paid for breakfast, and by 10:15, they had already started removing all the food, even though the closing time was listed as 11:00. Had we come down at 10:00, we would have had only 15 minutes to eat before everything was taken away. I even have a photo confirming this behavior. The hotel’s attitude is unacceptable. Not only does the service not match what was promised, but even after reporting the issue to the reception, there was no genuine effort to resolve it. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel due to its lack of professionalism and the poor handling of breakfast service.

Please alight here for immediate check-in to our affordable hotel at Berlin Central Station! We hope your journey was pleasant, and we’ll make sure your stay with us at Motel One Berlin-Hauptbahnhof will be too. Our hotel isn’t just incredibly close to transport links, its design is inspired by the eponymous station. It features exquisite station-themed installations, cosy booths styled on train compartments and old photographs showing you how the old ‘Lehrte Station’ was transformed into the state-of-the-art Berlin Central Station we see today.

Hidden gem in Berlin

We have something else that we’re sure you’ll love: our outdoor lounge. Enjoy exclusive peace and quiet in the heart of the city, looking out across the Moabit Historical Park. This green oasis is a veritable sanctuary to unwind in, featuring a natural wooden terrace, small grassy islands and a water feature. And while we’re on the subject of relaxing: enjoy our extensive breakfast buffet, free wifi, convenient check-in and check-out times in addition to rooms with super-comfy box-spring beds and the latest flat-screen TVs. Those are just a few of the reasons to sit back, relax, put your feet up and enjoy top value for money when you stay at our design hotel. Pay a visit to the lounge or head to the bar, where our friendly staff will be happy to pour you a drink, prepare you a snack or answer your questions.

Our affordable hotel is located right in the vibrant heart of the capital: at Berlin Central Station in the Moabit district. It is within walking distance of the government district and Reichstag, the Chancellery, the Museum of Natural History, the Tiergarten park, the Charité university hospital and Brandenburg Gate. And it’s only a hop, skip and a jump from the Spree river. Our Berlin hotel is the perfect base from which to discover this trendy capital on a city break.

Well-connected

Perhaps you’re in Berlin for business instead? Not only is Berlin Central Station with its connections to international rail lines right on our doorstep, but you can also easily get to Berlin-Brandenburg Airport and the Messe Berlin exhibition grounds (ICC) from our hotel. You couldn’t be closer to the capital’s transport hub at Motel One Berlin-Hauptbahnhof. It’s in such a convenient and central location that it’s perfect no matter whether you’re just on a stopover or whether you’re staying in Berlin for longer. Our hotel is just the ticket for a...

We are staying at Motel One in Alexanderplatz, Berlin during our 4-day trip for IFA 2023 from 1st to 5th of September, and I must say it is a delightful experience from start to finish. The motel exuded a remarkable blend of modern elegance and comfort that instantly put us at ease.

The moment we walked into the lobby, we were greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The decor was not only aesthetically pleasing turquoise color but also reflective of the vibrant spirit of Berlin. It was clear that every detail had been carefully thought out, from the stylish furnishings to the tasteful artwork adorning the walls.

The staff at Motel One were a true highlight of our stay. Their professionalism and friendliness made us feel like valued guests. The Arabic speaking guy was always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests we had, providing top-notch service with a genuine smile.

Our room was a haven of relaxation, offering a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night's sleep after long days at IFA 2023. The design was chic and minimalistic, creating a tranquil ambiance that allowed us to unwind effortlessly.

One of the standout features of Motel One was its proximity to Alexanderplatz all public transportations like S-bahn and U-bahn. This central location made it incredibly convenient for us to explore the city's attractions, dine at local restaurants, and easily access public transportation.

The breakfast spread at the motel was a delicious start to each day, offering a variety of fresh and scrumptious options that catered to different tastes. It provided the energy we needed for our busy days at the event.

In conclusion, our stay at Motel One in Alexanderplatz, Berlin, was nothing short of exceptional. It combined beautiful aesthetics, impeccable service, and a prime location to create an unforgettable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Motel One to anyone visiting Berlin, whether for business or leisure. It truly made our trip to IFA 2023 even more memorable, and we can't wait to return next year by god...

I recently stayed at motel onewith my family, and it was a disastrous experience, especially for families with children. Here’s why:

Unsafe Environment:The hotel grounds are not child-proofed at all. There are multiple uncovered electrical outlets within easy reach of small hands and sharp edges on the furniture. The pool area is poorly supervised, with broken tiles and no lifeguard on duty.

Unhygienic Conditions:The room was filthy upon arrival. We found mold in the bathroom, stains on the bed sheets, and an awful smell throughout the room. This is not the kind of place where you want your children to be crawling around.

Terrible Service:The staff was incredibly unhelpful and even rude at times. When we requested extra towels and pillows for our kids, it took hours to receive them, and the staff acted like we were inconveniencing them.

Noisy and Chaotic: The hotel was extremely noisy at all hours of the night, with loud music and parties going on. It was impossible for our kids to get any sleep, and they were exhausted and cranky the entire trip.

Lack of Child-Friendly Amenities:. There were no high chairs available in the restaurant, making meal times a nightmare.

Poor Food Quality:The food at the hotel restaurant was subpar, to say the least. Our children couldn't eat most of it because it was either too spicy or simply inedible. We ended up having to find food outside the hotel, which was inconvenient and expensive.

Safety Concerns:There were a few questionable individuals hanging around the hotel premises, and security seemed lax. We did not feel safe letting our kids out of our sight for even a moment.

In conclusion, motel one I s absolutely not suitable for families with children. Our stay was a complete nightmare, and we would never consider returning. If you care about your kids' safety and well-being, avoid this place...
