Alte Liebe - beste Livemusik der Reeperbahn! — Restaurant in Hamburg

Despite the reviews, I’m sure this place is nice but I went there early on, pack of 4 people, spent some money on the bar and left some extra tips. Didn’t intend to stay for live music but we did. What happened next it’s simply shocking. The slim waitress with tattoos placed sneakily a notice on our vacant table that we need to leave this table as it is booked from 10pm.

The notice wasn’t there, we were not made aware we need to leave the table from the beginning of the night.

When I asked why is this happening, we’ve been told that it simply does, I’ve replied with she can’t do this, this is hospitality and she can’t just pretend that this table is booked, I’ve told her this is hospitality and this is definitely not something that should be happening, also where are we meant to keep our coats? She realised this is a little nuts and told us we can keep our stuff on the chair. This ruined our mood and decided to leave early with a bitter taste, what a shame.

I used to work in hospitality, if they needed the space, a little sticker or notice should be left at the beginning of night, or let us know to relocate early on. I spoke to another German person at the bar he was shocked they do something like this and told me it is not normal.

I’ve been to different places of Germany and I know Germany knows what hospitality is, just this place/person spoiled the experience.

I’d recommend retraining if this person, I’m not trying to be a pain but put yourself in my shoes, would you like to be...

I was invited to Alte Liebe hearing about the Live Music of different bands, but wasn't aware it was a club rather than a bar.

The good - the drinks are tasty and priced alright. There's no entry fee so you're free to give it a try and see if you like the place. The music (Liebe Leudde) was nice with many well known cover songs as well as song-splicing.

The bad - its very noisy. You can't talk, you have to hope the Barkeeper can read lips. The card with drinks is black background with dark golden text on it, making it very hard to read in a bar/club without much light. Also, there are chairs and benches here but many of the chairs are repurposed for jackets to pile up on; the place should have a better solution for jackets to free up the very...

Ideale Location in toller Lage und mit einem Super-Team

Die „Alte Liebe“ hat eine mehr als gelungene exklusive Austragung meiner Geburtstagsfeier zum 60. Geburtstag mit 86 Gästen, Buffet und Livemusik hochprofessionell und unkompliziert umgesetzt. (Von der Personenzahl halte ich übrigens zwischen 80 und 100 Gästen für ideal, um weder zu leer noch zu überfüllt zu wirken.) Die Lage ist natürlich auch top!

Meine Gäste waren – ebenso wie wir als Gastgeber – ausgesprochen angetan von der tollen Location und von dem super-sympathischen Team! Das gesamte Team war megaklasse! Ich war echt von den Socken! Sowas von nett, freundlich, zuvorkommend, aufmerksam, hilfsbereit, flink und anpackend, und das ausnahmslos – großes Kompliment, mit so einer Mannschaft kann man als Gastgeber nicht besser den Rücken freigehalten bekommen und meine Erwartungen wurden übererfüllt!

Als Band ist „Lia & Lukas mit Band“ aufgetreten. Supersympathisch und musikalisch auf sehr hohem Niveau haben sie die Tanzfläche permanent voll gehabt, tolle Stimmung gemacht und drei Zyklen über eine lange Zeit mit vollem Einsatz gespielt! Im Anschluss hat die „Alte Liebe“ die Tanzfläche weiter durch ihre eigenen Playlists voll gehalten und ist auch völlig unkompliziert auf Musikwünsche eingegangen.

Die Geschlossene Gesellschaft an der Tür gegen Fremdgäste verteidigt hat Lou - ein ebenso netter und lustiger Typ, der nicht besser hätte besetzt sein können!

Das Buffet von einem Fremdcaterer wurde von dem Team in Perfektion gemanagt! Das Serviceteam war soo klasse, haben die Teller mitgenommen, nachgelegt, abgebaut – ich hätte es mir nicht besser wünschen können!

Ich war hochzufrieden und werde das auch nach Kräften teilen! Auch meine Gäste fanden es ausnahmslos toll bei Euch! Die „Alte Liebe“ ist aber auch wirklich eine liebenswerte und super geeignete Location! Ich habe ganz viel positives Feedback bekommen, weit mehr, als nach einer „normalen“ Feier üblich!
