The Chug Club — Restaurant in Hamburg

Since u will probably come through the Reparbahn and you understand drinks, This place is a MUST! The selection on cocktails is overwelming, I was surprised with the variety of the drinks! The chug system is pretty genius to da make you taste multiple drinks In a mini portion! Normally this whould be hell for a barkeepers to keep up with small drink but these guys they figured out a very good system to get ur drinks fast and not skimp on the quality! Atmosphere was great,it is a smoker bar but I believe they are equipped with good airfiltering unit since I am not smoking and i was not disturbed by the people smoking! Service was excellent, good introduction to the chug system was easy to understand and the menu was very clear as well!

Probably the only nitpick I have is that some of the drinks that they serve contain a high amount of acid(lime lemon), sweet and sour is great but less acid whould make the flavours shine even more!

Fantastic cocktail bar in St. Pauli! The chug concept is super creative – small, flavorful tequila and mezcal cocktails that let you try different tastes without overdoing it - The bartender is a true master at crafting the perfect mix of drinks!

The staff are passionate and friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. One of the best parts — they offer free water, which feels like a real luxury after a couple of cocktails.

The only feedback I have to make the experience even better is to kindly request that guests smoke outside, since the bar is small and the smoke can get overwhelming at times for non-smokers like me.

But still hands down one of the best bars in Hamburg and a must-visit for...

One of my favorite secret-underground -bar in Hamburg, definitely one of the best if you really want to drink a real cocktail! I'm living in St. Pauli and this place became my first choice, they have the "CHUG OF THE WEEK" a selection of 3 special cocktails that changes every week and believe me they are always super tasty and unique! You can find those just here, nowhere else I've ever been to has this thing! The waiters are super informative and well prepared to everything in the list, one of them Max, became a friend of mine, he does his job with a lot of passion!
