We stayed at Porto Mykonos for three nights in the honeymoon suite, which featured an in-room jet tub (it's important to note this is a jet tub, not a heated hot tub). The room was very comfortable, and the balcony was great, offering a nice view of the beautiful and white Mykonos Town. The hotel's location is a significant consideration, as it's only a three-minute walk to the center of Mykonos. Easy access to the town center is super important for a great Mykonos experience. While hotels closer to the New Port (where the mega-cruise ships dock) might be cheaper and also offer great views, reaching the center from those locations can be much more challenging and require expensive taxi transfers or renting a car. We recommend researching your hotel's proximity to the town center to ensure it's truly within a few minutes' walking distance. The Porto Mykonos hotel itself is beautiful, with its classic white-washed architecture. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and a buffet breakfast was included (don't expect fireworks at breakfast, it's pretty basic). We didn't use the hotel pool, but it is a beautiful infinity pool. The hotel staff were all very courteous and helpful. To mention a few by name: Thanos, Anastasia, Mario, and Jessie were excellent. The staff working at breakfast and the cleaning crew were also great. We felt well attended to, and both the rooms and the entire property were spotless. Choose this hotel if you're looking for a relaxing stay that's close to the action but not in the middle of an all-night party.

The Porto team were brilliant at planning a surprise engagement proposal and stay for our holiday to Mykonos. The team were responsive from the start, even 4-5 months out, and happy to answer any questions I had. They were quick and easy to communicate with, and brilliant at organising a suitable room, a bespoke 5-course balcony dinner, photographs, flowers and decorations in their beautiful and spacious Honeymoon suite. I would like to especially thank Vasilis, Antreas, Katerina and the concierge and front desk team for their support and hospitality and ensuring everything went as smoothly as possible. Thank you to the whole staff and chefs also, our dinner and drinks were outstanding. The Porto team advised expertly, dealt with last-minute requests, and provided all the small touches to make our stay here a lifetime memory. The room was amazing, with stunning views, incredibly comfortable and a great location to walk around Mykonos town, with convenient parking. The hotel feels like a mini-resort, quiet and peaceful while still being in the middle of the town. I am very grateful to Porto Mykonos for our special occasion, and I can't wait to come back and stay here on our future holidays.

A perfect blend of aesthetics & design meets a warm, family-like atmosphere. This beautifully renovated hotel in the heart of Mykonos is an absolute gem. The rooms are a dream, the view is breathtaking, and the food is outstanding—all at a surprisingly reasonable price for Mykonos. The highlight? The parmesan & truffle oil fries—simply divine! What we loved most was the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the incredibly kind staff. Everyone greets you with a smile, and no request goes unanswered. A huge thank you to Andreas for making our birthday celebration so special and perfectly organized. And of course, a big shoutout to Thanos for sharing so many insights about the hotel, its history, and for crafting amazing cocktails—it was truly heavenly! The biggest praise, however, goes to Jessie, the sweet and attentive receptionist. She gave us the best local tips for restaurants, beaches, sunset spots, and hidden coves. Thank you for an unforgettable vacation—we will definitely be back in September!

Staff stole money, very unsafe, unhelpful management.

Summary: I highly DO NOT recommend this hotel as the cleaning staff went through our personal items, then stole money and personal belongings. Reporting to the hotel management did nothing as they were unhelpful. They called all the cleaning staff out to us and that night, my family never felt more fearful of our lives.

Stolen Money: My family and friends stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. On the 1st morning, I went for breakfast and came back to my cash stolen from my belongings. Careless of me and lesson learnt for sure.

Unhelpful management: All the cleaning staff were summoned to the front desk immediately. We tried to be kind and polite, focusing on the insurance claim and not the blame. To which the hotel management then pushed the blame to us and shrugged it off. They did not even want to help us call the police, did not want to give us the police number and said we had to travel out to the police station (15mins away) ourselves in a foreign land to make the police report.

Unsafe: That is NOT the WORST. While all this was happening, one of the cleaning staff sneaked into my sister's room while she was in the toilet. We have full video footage of that and will be more than happy to share it. The lady just walked right into the room without consent and when she was caught by my terrified sister. She claimed that she was just using the phone in the room to speak to the reception. What? Mind you the cleaning ladies had a room of their own just 10 steps away. Can you imagine them walking in when you were sleeping??

Throughout the rest of our stay, we were made to feel extremely unwelcome. Death stares and whispers. That night my family and friends slept in fear. We had to barricade the doors with chairs. I highly highly DO NOT recommend Porto Mykonos - unsafe and not helpful.

Edit: Wow threatening me with legal action after being exposed of such wrong doings at their hotel. How on brand for you. I stayed here years ago for sure, I've got pictures and videos...

This hotel has two parts the "basic" and the "modern upscale" rooms. We booked several weeks ago in a suite (431 sq ft with living space and bedroom). Now we had many choices as Mykonos was opening up to vaccinated travelers and for the price felt it was a good value and had some good reviews. They first took us to their basic rooms and offered us a 2 room with 2 beds with a taste of the 70s (not as nice as the Motel 6 in USA). I had seen pictures of the suites and knew something was wrong.

I went back up to the check in receptionist who has terrible customer service skills and acted like I did not know what a suite was and that I was wrong, but would move me tomorrow that they had nothing available. I wish I had told her I travel around 8 weeks per year in 4 star hotels and those room would rate 1 star and I am sure I have seen more suites than she ever will. At that point I told them that we would not be staying as we were giving something completely different than advertised on their own website and to refund my money. Magically a smaller modern upscale room came available. Two days later a manager came and told me they now had larger suite room available. We did not accept because half our time was gone and did not want to repack.

Now if I was giving the room that I paid for then I would say I would stay here again as the "upscale modern rooms" are a true 4 star experience and would have rated the experience 5 stars. The breakfast is a great (menu does not change) but for the morning there is a nice selection. The pool, grounds and views are amazing! Lots of steps but that keeps the heart pumping. Plus a short walk into town.

If you book direct with them as we did I would call and confirm that the room your booking is in the new section or the older basic section it will save you a lot of...

Our stay at Porto Mykonos was simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism. The check-in experience was seamless, and Andreas, the manager, personally ensured we had an early check-in and even took care of our luggage. This level of care set the tone for the entire stay.||||The staff at Porto Mykonos are truly exceptional. Andreas is an outstanding manager who makes you feel like a valued guest. George at the reception was always professional, friendly, and ready to assist with anything we needed. A special highlight of our stay was George, the barista. He is simply amazing after just one morning, he already knew our coffee preferences and would bring us our coffee with a smile, even before we asked. It’s the small, thoughtful gestures like this that make a huge difference.||||The room was perfect. spacious, spotlessly clean, and with a breathtaking view of the old port, where we could watch the ships. The housekeeping team did an excellent job keeping everything tidy and fresh. We also appreciated how well-sealed the windows were, providing great noise cancellation for a restful stay.||||The pool area is stunning, recently renovated, and offers a mix of comfort and luxury. The service around the pool was top-notch, and the views are just insane picture-perfect Mykonos vibes.||||The overall atmosphere of the hotel is fun yet calm, with a team of kind and always smiling staff. We truly couldn’t ask for a better experience, and we left with only positive memories. Everything was perfect.||||David and...
