This restaurant is located right next to the water in Mykonos town and offers a delicious menu of Greek/Mediterranean food catered to a typical western palette. The grilled octopus was fresh, perfectly cooked, and served with a very good fava bean paste. I then had the shrimp kritharoto with mussels that was a Greek take on a mixed seafood pasta, a type of pasta I’m particularly fond of and one I wanted to try in a Greek style. This was a greatly appetizing dish without being too filling, and the creaminess of the sauce was pleasant with the various seafood flavors. All of it had been perfectly cooked as well and served very fresh. I also had a glass of white wine recommended by the server that didn’t pair the best with the food, but that might have been due to a lack of better options served by the glass. The bottle list has better variety overall, naturally. I ended with the “baklava” dessert that was both sweet and savory, having a mix of cold creaminess from ice cream and a nice granola-like crunch as well. They also have a full espresso bar that made a good espresso. Overall, this was a delicious experience, I didn’t feel rushed to leave or order, and the views are hard to beat. Had it not been such a windy day this would have been perfect, but that’s no fault of their own. I highly recommend those visiting Mykonos to stop by here for a more upscale and well-received...
Read moreThere was a nice chatty waiter outside initially and the menu and location seemed nice so we thought it would be a good place to eat for our last night in Mykonos (even if it was expensive), HOWEVER, we ordered water from the table which they forgot about and hardly apologised or even brought to table when we mentioned this. The general service was appalling and there was no apology. It wasn't busy at all and we were waiting for quite a while. We asked the waiter how long the wait would be for the food. He rudely replied "minutes" which didn't mean much and he didn't check with the kitchen. The waiters were rude and had no interest in their customers. We were starving by this point and decided to leave and find somewhere else to eat. The waiter then chased us out of the restaurant even though they hadn't been interested in us since we sat down in the restaurant. They then said very rudely we can't leave as the food is in the oven and they will call the police! They we're shouting and just worried about losing customers. Overall food may or may not have been good, but it's not worth the wait or the rudeness. Tried to compensate with dessert on the house. Waiter said didn't believe I worked in the profession I mentioned and...
Read more€1.50 for ketchup? Avoid this rip off place. We had eaten lunch here only 2 days ago. The waiter was telling us that business was down on last year compared to other islands. We spoke about the prices are probably keeling people away. The staff are really friendly here, I do have to stay. We decided to go back for dinner. When we got the bill I saw they charged for ketchup. I never in my life been charged for Kethup. When I questioned the waiter, he says it’s to keep the price of the food down and they are cheap compared to other restaurants. I’ve never heard such crap in all my life. €24 for a pizza? Hardly cheap and it’s the same all along the seafront. I have no problem paying for €24 for over priced French fries, but I do have a problem paying for ketchup. Mykonos is just to expensive all round. It was our last meal on the island, we won’t be back to restaurant or the island. You are being ripped off everywhere you go. Unless this restaurant and other businesses on the island realise there is only so much you can go with customers before you...
