⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Unforgettable night with bouzouki, DJ beats & flying plates!" “Roca Mykonos” isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a full-on Greek celebration under the stars. As DJ Rigas steps up with his live bouzouki in hand, blending traditional Greek sounds with modern DJ beats, the atmosphere turns magical… and then the real party begins.
Plates start smashing. And not just one or two — I personally saw at least six full boxes of plates being shattered in the heat of the moment, and that was only halfway through the night! It felt like an old-school Greek “panigiri” (festival), with a modern twist, luxury service, and a view that takes your breath away.
Everyone — locals, tourists, couples, groups — becomes one big family. Dancing, clapping, shouting “opa!” as the bouzouki echoes through the sea breeze and the DJ keeps the beat going until late. 🔹 Highlights:
Location: Insane views over Mykonos Old Port – perfect for sunset lovers.
Music: Live bouzouki with DJ Riga – a mix of Greek soul and electronic rhythm you won’t hear anywhere else.
Showtime: Yes, they smash plates – big time. Ask for it, it’s part of the experience. You won’t believe how many fly!
Food & Drinks: Delicious signature dishes (try the chicken filet and pasta!) and cocktails crafted for a sunset mood.
Service: Friendly, professional, and always with a smile – they know how to make you feel like you're at a celebration.
📝 Pro Tips:
Book early to grab a table near the front for the full sunset + show combo.
If you want to see DJ Riga live with bouzouki, check dates or ask the staff when he’s playing.
Don’t be shy — break a plate and join the party. It's loud, joyful, and 100% Mykonos.
🎉 Final Verdict:
Roca Mykonos delivers a rare and unforgettable experience. Come for the food, stay for the music, and leave with memories of a night where tradition meets luxury, and the bouzouki meets the beat. DJ Riga is on fire — and so is the whole vibe. A must-visit...
Read moreI recently dined at Roca in Mykonos, and it was, unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. The most glaring issue was the service, particularly the behavior of the older waitress, which was nothing short of shocking.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this waitress was not keen on serving us. Her demeanor was unfriendly, bordering on hostile. It was apparent that she had a particular disdain for foreigners, which was deeply unsettling. Her actions and attitude suggested a level of racism that made us very uncomfortable. She made several attempts to rush us through our meal and seemed to want us to leave as quickly as possible, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy.
The overall service was extremely slow and inattentive. We waited far too long for our orders to be taken and even longer for the food to arrive. When we tried to get her attention to ask for basic things like water or additional utensils, she either ignored us or responded with visible irritation.
Such behavior is unacceptable and marred what should have been a pleasant dining experience in a beautiful location. I would not recommend Roca in Mykonos to anyone, especially to those who are not locals. The combination of poor service and the unwelcoming attitude of the staff, particularly the older waitress, made it a place I would avoid...
Read moreAfter first visit, I decided for second one. Good food, nice staff but the view is great! Definitely a nice place in Mykonos, price is the same as the other restaurants. Food is good, so you can’t go wrong. We enjoy the beautiful sunset that it was speechless! You will love the view and the atmosphere. So, we read other people review about this restaurant and we decide to try it for one night. Then, we just love it! So in one week we went twice to the same place. Is not something that we do as we like to explore and taste all sort of places and food. After the sunset, they are creating a romantic atmosphere with dimmable lights and candles, a perfect romantic dinner if you want to impress. If you want a romantic dinner or just a nice view is perfect place. How I’ve said is not expensive but not cheapest in town. I would recommend more than the other restaurants that are on Old Town, near to the water. If you are in Mykonos, is worth to go there, even if you dont eat, you can have some snack and a drink with that...
