If you're in Fira, Santorini and want to eat like a local, do not miss The Meat Corner. This place is a little slice of Greek heaven tucked away in the heart of the town. The food is phenomenal — The juicy pork and chicken gyros, where to die for. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and served with pride. But what really sets The Meat Corner apart is the hospitality. After chatting with the owner for the duration of our meal, we could tell he was different. He was warm, friendly, and clearly passionate about what he does. To our surprise (and my brother’s absolute delight), he handed my brother a free Meat Corner t-shirt as a gift. No strings attached. Just a kind gesture that showed how much they care about their guests. That kind of generosity is rare, and it made the whole experience feel even more special. We ordered a chicken yiros which was just ok and a chicken souvlaki the chicken is dry unflavoured and blank. The souvlaki didnt come with tzatziki sauce. The quality is well below a general standard let alone in Greece. When asked if we could have some tzatziki, the owner said it would cost 2€ for a small scoop, we said fine we will pay before we leave. After the meal we gave the 2€ to the owner, however the information was never conveyed to other workers as an other owner sent a worker to chase us down the street for 2€ payment which had already been paid. After explained the above, the worker wouldnt believe us.. we had to go back to the shop to verify. It was extremely cheap and such a turn down, it is against the well perseived the generous European hospitality. Would not recommend and will not return. Giving 2 stars is because the Greek...

WOW!!! What an amazing place to eat we loved it that much that we went 3 times on our 5days of being there…we landed and went straight for food and these guys were so friendly and helpful the food is full of taste the staff are unbelievable they couldn’t do enough for you they actually felt like friends! Gutted on our last day leaving however we will 100% be back! Maybe with the children to Thankyou for such delicious meals and for the great service and laughs your all incredible what a team!!!
