I usually don’t leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share what happened. When my family and I visited the store, we were met with staff who struggled to communicate in English, which made it difficult to explain what we were looking for. We were polite and clear about what we wanted, but were repeatedly given incorrect products.
There were three people working at the time, but one older staff member in particular stood out — unfortunately not in a good way. She was dismissive, unhelpful, and made us feel like we were a nuisance for even asking questions. Despite not understanding our request, she insisted she knew better, which led to us being sold the wrong items.
The situation escalated in a way I never expected: a deeply inappropriate and hurtful comment was made toward my mother — something no one should ever hear, especially not in a professional setting. I was honestly shocked and hurt on her behalf.
I rarely feel the need to warn others, but this crossed a line. No one deserves to be treated this way. We left feeling shaken and incredibly disrespected. I will not...
Read moreThis is my first time in Santorini, I arrived in this village today, and I've already had a negative experience. I asked for a sterile needle because I wanted to remove a black sea urchin spine from my partner's foot. The male pharmacist told me the price, which was over one euro. I wanted to pay with a 20-euro bill, but he seemed annoyed since I had no small change (because I couldn't pay by card at a restaurant, as there had been a power outage in Kamari a few days ago). I offered to pay by credit card, but he said they would charge me extra for that. He didn't speak to me very kindly. The woman next to him said something, probably asking why he wouldn't give me change from the 20-euro bill, to which he replied, "She's only buying a needle." The lady had served my partner very helpfully earlier, but the man didn't speak to me in the manner he should have. It made me quite sad that you come on holiday, speak nicely to everyone, and yet this is how they speak to you, especially...
Read moreBe aware of this pharmacy!! I visited the pharmacy to ask for a specific cold and flu drug - they will only try to give you the more expensive brands as opposed to the generic local options. The woman in this pharmacy is extremely rude, hot headed and has a temper. I paid with my credit card and without asking me she charged me not in the local currency; Euros when it is my choice to choose the payment currency on the terminal. Upon confronting her she said that she has to because it’s medicine which is an utter lie. I confronted her again to which she said she can’t afford for me to pay in Euros and hence why she made me use her exchange rate on her machine and that she is unable to refund me as she doesn’t know how to. Please be aware if you’re not local and paying with a credit card she will try to scam you into paying a higher fee!! The amount of tourists she must be doing this too. If I could give them 0...
