The reason I gave 2 star is the STAFF. They are rude, and didn’t even serve us for several minutes, they were just standing there chatting. Clearly we were ready to order. Second of all, she was not helpful and clearly didn’t want to be there. We ordered 3 cakes a Black tea and a water. Immediately got the cakes, sat down and waited for the tea. She shouted at us, that the tea is ready. I got up, to grab it. I saw that she gave us EARL GREY, which however is considered black tea in Hungary, we were hoping on a better quality tea. So I asked for “English Breakfast”. Which they had, but the girl started moaning about the fact that I told her it is not really black tea. My father does not, but I speak Hungarian as well, so I understood every word she said. Fine… she gave me the English breakfast tea, which is a bit better than what we got originally. Then I asked her for the water, that I had paid for, but forgot to give me. Asked for 3 cups, and told me, that it’s behind the counter and that I can grab, with a rude attitude. The cakes/pastries: They have a nice display, but the quality of the cakes and pastries and really poor. They are dry and just flavorless. The furniture was dirty AF, I have added a picture, see for yourself. Really unpleasant. Overall, there is a negative atmosphere, and would not recommend going there. There are way better and...

Rude employees Tonight I visited your etablishment around 7 pm ( 09/10/2022)and one of employee was really rude.I tried to order an ice- crem and when I open my mouth to place my order, an other employee, a yough girl , who was busy with doing something on the other side of the restaurant , shout out some question to the lady who tried to serve me.I instantly stopped ordering, to let the lady who served me to listen and answer, after few secinds when I tried to place my order again, the first gurl shout out an other quedtion. In thus moment I asked them that now she talks or I talke and I wanted to leave the etablishment without ordering.Non of the ladies appologise.I do not want to teach anyone " manners" but I think is really rude to behave in such a way with customers and shout out over a restaurant containing guest( there were other ppl inside) and do not prioritise a custumer.I think you might have a chat or hire stuff properly trained or at least having...

We have had 4 different cakes and 4 scoops of ice cream here on Sunday afternoon. 2 of the cakes have been extremly soggy on the bottom. Guess it must have been water from somewhere or they have been old cakes. The coffee cake (Opera I think) taste of butter and barely anything else. All the cakes are "decorated" with a low quality white chocolate thing. Boring and tasteless I say. Whats more you need to disgustingly destroy your cake in order to eat it because of that hard thing on top. The ice cream is a good average. Nothing to mention really but the selection is wide, indeed. They sell ice cream by the weight so they can give you the cup and the !!spoon!! as well on ice cream price!!! Do you really need to be this cheap? The plastic spoons are taken out of a large glass bowl by the waitress by touching it all over with bare hands in time of Covid and...

Great spot on Andrassy utca. Large selection of gelato and cakes. A few gluten free ones, more fruity flavour than chocolate/cream types. My cake was ok, my friend’s non-gluten-free cake was really good. The service is strange - order cake and sit down, then they come to your table to say your drinks are ready. Then you have to go get your drinks. If they already came to the table, why not just bring the drinks with them? The establishment looks premium (and charges premium prices) but they don’t offer table service? And there was no communication around how to get our drinks - we were watching to see whether they would bring it or not. They also did not brew the tea for me - they just gave me a tea bag next to a cup of hot water. So close to being a nice experience. The food and location and atmosphere is good. The service needs improvement.

The place itself has a nice mood, a wide selection of desserts, cakes, ice cream flavors, waffles, hot chocolate, lemonade and coffee. You can either sit on the inside or on the tiny patio. We tried the flourless pecan dessert with milk chocolate ganache (Mókuskám). It wasn't bad, but wasn't that good either. We also tried the Belgian chocolate and salted caramel ice cream flavors, those were amazing (regular version, not sugarfree). Would definitely go back to try other flavors as well. What we didn't like was the staff, one girl, who rang us up was very nice, while the other one was kinda rude. We chucked it up to her having a bad day, but reading other reviews it may not be just that. The prices are also pretty high, which isn't surprising, it's a very touristy neighborhood. I would say the ice cream was worth it, the dessert not so much.
