I have been a member for almost a month, I've taken many different classes and tried all the facilities. Most trainers are actually really nice and helpful, and even give special attention when necessary as all the classes are in Hungarian. Equipment and the facilities are ok too, though a bit on the smaller side for the price.
But the reception staff and rules are just disappointing. On my first day, I really wanted to have a quick look at the gym before I paid the highest fee in town. After I asked, the receptionist- and I'm not kidding- rolled her eyes at me and then asked me to just pay for the membership. I insisted that I would like to see the gym before I pay, and after a while a really nice colleague came and gave me a quick tour and I paid the fee and joined the gym. But this whole interaction and the eye-roll left a very sour taste.
On another occasion, during the tram ride to the gym I realized I left my wallet at home with my gym card in it, I had registered to an early morning class and I had no time to go back. I had my passport on me and I was sure that they could just check my name ( as they have done in other gyms in the city) and let me in. However, when I got there they asked me to pay the fee for my lost card, but my card was not lost, and I didn't actually have any money on me. They just pointed to the rules and that was it, there was no attempt of trying to help or figure this issue out, there was no real costumer service or care for a returning costumer. After my membership is up, I don't think I will...
Read moreDear Management,
I was disappointed to discover that the price has once again been increased by HUF 5000 without any prior communication. Instead, or at least in consideration, it would be greatly appreciated if efforts were directed towards improving the quality of service, as the guest experience has been steadily declining.
For instance: (i) Contrary to the advertised improvements, the wellness area has been demolished. (ii) The ladies' toilet on the third floor has been leaking for the past three months, as evident in the published photo. (iii) Additionally, one of the two stair climbers has been out of order for 2-3 months, and the 1-kilo leg weights have not been functional for over a year.
Despite multiple price increases over the past two years, the quality of service has worsened. This is particularly annoying/not fair as fundamental equipment remains non-functional.
I have only one question: when can we expect the necessary maintenance work to be carried out, especially considering the recently implemented price hikes?
I give more than 1 star, because I like group class and appreciate the work of...
Read moreI was about to write exactly what Dongli Cao wrote!!! We came in today anf very politely asked for a day pass. It was 1900HU for one person, which I WOULD be willing to pay, but the receptionist there looked like I was bothering him and wasn't willing to talk much.... poor guy, how dare I bother him by wanting to buy something. He scoffed, and just told me that if I want to go into the gym, I have to register at the PCs nearby first. I asked him what the point was, as I would not come back again, but he just told me off and looked away into the computer - probably playing farmville or something (they werent busy with anything). The registration PC was mostly in hungarian, it wanted to know everything about me like my date of birth, address, email - the staff were not willing to help much despite not doing anything else at the time.... After that, we asked ourselves if those 1900 Forints (per person) that we worked hard for were worth giving away to a company that made me feel like I was bothering, so we left. They didnt even say "bye" (granted, we didn't say...
