Hi, I'd like to share my honest feedback about Bali Botanica Day Spa. Your spa has much better reviews on social media in China compared to Putri Bali Spa. Since I couldn't download WhatsApp, I went to your spa on my first day in Bali to make a reservation. However, it was so busy that I could only get an appointment for a few days later. So, I went to Putri for a massage first. Let me compare the experiences. I had a 90-minute Balinese massage at Putri and a 60-minute Balinese massage at your spa. Your therapists lacked strength, and the massage process wasn't as thorough as Putri's. At Putri, the therapists would stretch my body and notice areas of discomfort, adjusting accordingly. But with your therapists, it felt like they were just going through the motions. At Putri, I also had a 90-minute sound therapy and ayurvedic massage, which was very professional. They would allow me to make wishes, recite mantras, creating a great experience. However, my 2.5-hour ayurvedic massage at your spa wasn't enjoyable. Firstly, the therapist lacked strength, and the soundproofing in the room was poor; I could hear people next door talking and showering. The therapist only massaged me for 2 hours and 5 minutes in reality. Additionally, after the massage, I expected the therapist to leave so I could shower, but she stayed and packed her things in front of me. Perhaps she wanted to finish work early, but I really wanted to shower first. I believe she should have waited for me to finish showering before packing up. Also, the shampoo and conditioner at your spa weren't as good as Putri's, and no one asked me what scent of oil I preferred for the massage. Overall, my experience wasn't great, so I canceled my future appointments. I hope you can make...
Read moreWith Bali Botanical was already such a name in Bali since years and years, their reservation was always pretty inconvenient and never enjoyable experience (I’m not talking about one time booking, but it had been like this always). They absolutely never recognize you as a repeater client. Quite opposite to One World retreat in where everyone knows you, here you always feel like a tourist, one of many hundreds, nobody knows or call your name, only “Mr.”. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been there over 10 times plus panchakarmas and you sent many people, there was never personalized attentive feeling. Also by WhatsApp, I never heard “welcome back” or “how are you”. These sort of conversations never existed. Next - emails missed (don’t even try their website form - it’s getting lost, and you can wait for days with no response until you reach out by WhatsApp to find out it’s booked). It takes hours to receive replies which are typically “we’re full” with no alternative dates provided. Even if you go through their unwelcoming and complicated reservation, there is still this feeling of you being their just another guest, no respect towards people coming back. So, since it doesn’t improve over years and years, I write this in hope that management does something with the reservation staff who unfortunately never worked according to standards provided by therapists or in another locations. Overall, it’s pretty disappointing and making me looking for alternative...
Read moreMy visit to Bali Botanica Day Spa was an absolute retreat for the senses. Nestled in nature's embrace, the spa offers a beautiful view that instantly sets a serene tone for the entire experience. The lush surroundings create a peaceful atmosphere that transports you far from the hustle and bustle.
The massage itself was incredibly relaxing, expertly tailored to my preferences. What stood out was the thoughtful touch of a form provided upon arrival. It allowed me to communicate specific areas I wanted the therapist to focus on and areas where I preferred a gentler touch. This personalised approach added a layer of care to the experience, making it truly special.
Post-massage, the availability of a shower was a lovely touch, especially as I had plans in town afterwards. Freshened up, I appreciated the attention to detail. The spa's promise of letting me choose the herbal oil, unfortunately, didn't materialise. It was a small letdown, considering the otherwise meticulous attention to client preferences.
To conclude the blissful experience, a cup of warm and spicy ginger tea was offered, providing the perfect ending to a rejuvenating session. Bali Botanica Day Spa not only pampers your body but also treats you to a holistic sensory escape. Despite the minor hiccup with the herbal oil selection, the overall experience was a testament to the spa's commitment to relaxation and well-being. It's a haven for those seeking a moment of tranquility amid...
