The Doorway Gallery — Attraction in Dublin

If you are a visitor to this beautiful city or indeed a local, there is one city institution that you must see and that is the National Art Gallery on Marion Square. Then primed with all that magic and colour your next visit must be to the Doorway Art Gallery a short distance from its doors. This elegant two-story emporium of art is, in my opinion, the best art gallery in city, with all manner of art displayed and with price tags don't immediately send you running for the door! I was like a child in a sweet shop when I first discovered this wonderful place and although some of the pieces I fell in love with were beyond my current budget, the two wonderful ladies who run the gallery Denise and Deirdre, like the proverbial godmothers were able to make my dreams come through by offering extremely flexible payment plans. There is no whiff of exclusivity here, the only criteria is that you love art.
