Gelateria PeterPan — Attraction in Cagliari

Just awful service. Got cheated! Paid 3 got 2 small balls. Stress instead of pleasure. The taste of ice-cream is ok, but the ice cream is too soft, not cold enough. About the service: I entered, made my order, paid the bill at the cash point. The shop assistant gave me the bill and asked to wait. I was standing and waiting to be served, one shop assistant was serving another guest, another was speaking, the third was just sitting and observing the situation. After some minutes, the shop assistant (whom I paid) stood up and decided to serve me. She ( a small short shop assistant with long blonde hair) again asked what I wanted and served me 2 instead of 3. While sitting and eating it outside,I noticed that 2 small balls were served instead of 3. I did not pay enough attention when she was filling the ice-cream: i just named the flavours. I returned and asked for the 3 ball. Of course, an unpleasant discussion happened. I adressed the shop assistant who served me, she ignored me. Finally, I got my ball of ice-cream. Well, after all that stress i was not interested in ice cream any more. It is very bad experience. I cannot recommend it, there are much better places to have ice cream without...

I tried several gelaterias in Cagliari, and this one was a real revelation. At first, I was a bit skeptical because it had one of the highest numbers of reviews, and I usually prefer trying less-known spots, thinking the popular ones are more touristy. In the end, I’m so glad I gave it a try: the flavors were truly excellent, especially the Capitan Uncino flavor, which was absolutely delicious! I couldn’t resist getting three scoops, and there were still so many other flavors I wanted to try. Definitely better than many other gelaterias...

The staff is uncoordinated and with an attitude. In front of the store the pavement in sticky and dirty, but most importantly, the ice-cream is expensive and not that great. L.E. For a review in English they reply in italian. Ok, so the prices are normal for the area, fine, but you can't blame the municipality for the dirty pavement in front of the store.
