Glad to have happened on this place. Big and interesting selection of flavours, professional service and a timeless interior. Three of us ordered entirely different flavours and everyone ended up raving about their own selection, which shows that the standards are very high.

I can’t speak to what everyone else got, but whenever the subject of gelato comes up for at least the next six months, you can guarantee I will be fan-boying about the yogurt and candied ginger (yogurt allo zenzero). Now with two locations, the first outside central Florence but that at Piazza Beccaria 7 more convenient, Gelateria de' Medici exudes old-world charm thanks to dark wood and crystal chandeliers surrounding 40+ daily flavors.

Making Gelato the old-fashioned way, a Fior di Latte base infused with nothing but the best Ingredients, it is inside that guests will encounter friendly service plus everything from Gelato Cakes to Fruits hollowed and filled with their own creamy concoction.

LOVE this place! They have a variety of amazing flavors, and the consistency of the gelato is great (creamy, not runny). My favorite flavors are Parisienne (salted caramel with caramelized peanuts) and Golosa (vanilla with chocolate & nutella swirls).

They let you sample flavors, and prices are super reasonable for what you get. Staff is friendly and nice too, and lastly, their gelato bon bons in the back freezer are delicious too. Will keep...
