Opera season opening night. I won't lie, could have not been worse for us. The theater was nice as always, staff is spot on and the buffet is surprisingly reasonably priced... The evening was ghastly though. Opening night, sure, but it certainly wasn't necessary (and it was a bit pathetic) to have the Mayor and the Region's President give a speech. Please get on with the show. Or, DON'T!! I would have never thought I'd walk out on an Opera... Midsummer Night's Dream, stuff out of my worst nightmares. Still nothing was enough to keep us...
Read moreTerrible organization by the administration of Carlo Felice, they hire aggressive/bad singers like Franco Rios Castro that attacks the public with no reason, i wanted to see this Tosca's season, like i always do and i saw this terrible and aggressive singer on their list, he sings so terribly too, so many good singers and they hire an unprofessional one. A shame for the theater because i like this Opera House and have enjoyed all their Opera Seasons in the last years, but they need to be careful with whom they hire for the safety and enjoyment of the audience. It is not nice when a troubled/stressed singer sends to hell to the...
