Does Rinascente actually has training courses for its employees on how to treat customers: politely, perhaps even in a friendly manner? Why hasn't the young man in the wine department been allowed to participate? I have rarely been treated so arrogantly. Maybe it was the clothes: trekking trousers and anorak. I probably know more about wine than he does, and he probably won't drink the wines for over 300 euros every day. By the way: the Nebbiolo for 20 euros wasn't worth the money so far, but maybe it will develop in the glass. Summary: The behavior of the staff shows the class of the store. Surely, my experience was an outlier. At least I hope that the Rinascente‘s claim of high standards is not mere pretentiousness. Maybe two concrete hints are in order: When a customer hesitates, do not say: „You asked for my advice!!!“. When a customer cannot decide within seconds, do not say: „Yes or no!!!“. Maybe it would be a good idea to present a tax assessment on your income when shopping at Rinascente. Or Rinascente should teach their staff that the first impression may be misleading. But maybe politeness should not depend on income, age, race, sex (sorry, I have this outdated point of view). By the way: the 20 Euro Nebbiolo has not improved in the glass. I hope that my friend at Rinascente is at least not the one responsible for the selection...

I have purchased 5 items (EUR52) and paid the delivery charge (EUR70) which was more expensive thank purchasing. However the most expensive and biggest item was found broken after reached the destination. And Rinascente Rome customer service only agree to refund the damage item. No delivery charge! Their excuse is there was no more item left as the broken item, so they could only refund instead of sending another one. And without that broken item, I would still need to pay the deliver charge for the rest 4 small items. But they never thought it was a set and pair. Also I would NOT buy the rest 4 if the broken item was not available. Also my friend in Rome went to their shop, the item was still available in their shop. They just didn't want to deliver another one to their customer because their own fault. After I wrote them again to disagree the settlement, then just ignored me. Which means I need to pay EUR70 delivery charge for EUR30 remain items. If I purchase later or somewhere else. I will need to pay delivery charge again!!!! Stay away...

Big Shoppingmall with only Designer-Shops. Good Foodhall and an experience for itself.

Unfortunately we‘ve had a bad encounter with one of the employees, on the -1 Floor, there are some very special couches displayed and my friend and I sat down to test them (they were veeery comfy) - but suddenly a tall, asian employee came to us (I was already standing) and told my friend to be careful and to take her handbag off from the couch, implying that she and her belongings were dirty… (she is black idk if that was the issue tbh) and that these couches were meant to sold… At the same time some others were sitting on another couch, but he didn’t say anything to them… Very unprofessional- if he just politely told us to stand up, it would have been no issue at all (there were no signs that it was permitted to sit) but he shook his head the entire time he tried to tidy the couch up afterwards and was just rude… very sad that we had to end our visit...

While strolling through the streets of Rome, I stumbled upon Rinascente Department Store, and what a fortunate find it was! This store is like a mini version of Bloomingdale's or Saks Fifth Avenue in New York, but with an Italian flair. The multi-level store is packed with high-end fashion, including two entire floors dedicated to men's fashion. The store layout is impeccable, with carefully curated selections and a well-organized shopping experience. I found exactly what I was looking for, and even discovered a few extra treasures along the way. Rinascente offers an exceptional shopping experience, where you can find all the high fashion brands you could dream of under one roof. If you're in Rome and looking for a cozy yet luxurious place to shop for designer items, Rinascente Department Store is the place to go. Highly recommended for fashion lovers!

The prices here for luxury goods are actually pretty good compared to many parts of the world and you even get to enjoy tax-refunds encashed on-the-spot if you’re a tourist as there is a Global Blue office conveniently located in the basement. We were rendered excellent service by many of the helpful staff, notably ones from Gucci, Valentino and also an adorable Japanese staff from La Rinascente itself :) La Rinascente is a departmental store so they would appear to manage only the beauty/main departments. The designer brand mini-stores within are owned by the respective principals so promotions applicable to Rinascente are usually not applicable to brand stores but that’s fine! Still about 30% cheaper than in Singapore :)
