We stumbled on this place whilst on our way to another restaurant for dinner and thought it looked nice. We asked if they had any space of a walk in and, despite having reservations later in the evening, were very accommodating and offered us a table inside! The menu is all on a QR code as it is updated regularly and has English translations (which was very helpful for us!). We decided to go for the tasting menu with drinks and it was amazing!! We had 2 raw starters, 2 cooked starters, pasta with the catch of the day, a fish course, and dessert - every course was tasty, fresh and presented nicely. There was the perfect amount of food for us to be able to eat and enjoy it all but still be full afterwards. Both the Prosecco and and Chardonnay pairings were lovely and the limoncello shot at the end was a nice touch. The restaurant decor is also very nice along with the plates and cutlery. Waiters also really went out of their way to make it enjoyable experience and made us feel very welcome :) all in all, an amazing dinner and definitely one to check out if you’re in sorrento!

The word I'd use for our experience is "nice". The food was very good but not excellent. Presentation on ceramic plates lovely, quality of ingredients good. Flavors ok but not memorable, and portions were rather on the small side. We live in Abruzzo so may be biased as we're used to very plentiful plates. The desserts were the weakest link. This is not the first time I say: not sure why restaurants have to call e.g. a plate of spoonfols of cheesecake-like cream & biscuit crumbles a "cheesecake" of any kind... would be better to call it what it actually is. And my husband said the tiramisu I make at home is way better and I'm not a chef 😉) Friendly service but more friendly than professional. The online menu was difficult to comprehend for a number of Guests around us. Atmosphere nice but it's a small place and having music interrupted by radio ads is not in line with the quality of the restaurant. Overall, a place with a lot of potential. The kind where I could go with a bunch of girlfriends, not necessarily my husband. Wishing all the best to the young entrepreneurs!

Our daughter found this gem on our first night in Sorrento and oh what a find! The staff is very friendly and set the tone for a welcoming dining experience. We had the 6-course meal and it did not disappoint! Starters: sea bream with raspberry and sauce was only this world; the grilled octopus was cooked to perfection, tuna tartare with avocado cream was very delicious; the coconut?? shrimp was ok in comparison to the other starters and I wasn’t sure exactly what the flavor profile was: it didn’t taste like much of anything. The first course: Gnocchi Sorrentina offered pillow soft pasta in commodore sauce. Soooo gooodd!!. Second course:!seated Amberjack fish with steamed Bok Choy was perfect ending to the savory meals. This was followed by Limoncello, not my jam, so I don’t drink it and the meal was rounded out with espresso and a lemon raspberry tart. The white wine that was also party of the multi course meal complimented everything brilliantly. Highly recommend this wonderful gem and would certainly go back for another meal.

Casa Tua in Astoria, Sorrento, is nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I stepped into this charming restaurant, I was transported into a world of authentic Italian flavors and warm hospitality. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern touches that make you feel right at home.

What truly sets Casa Tua apart is their dedication to customer satisfaction. The chef went above and beyond by delivering fresh clams (brought to the restaurant directly on a scooter) an unexpected but delightful surprise! Though not on the menu, these clams were prepared to perfection – tender, flavorful, and bursting with the true taste of the Mediterranean. It’s rare to find a place where the staff is so in tune with your tastes, and their attention to detail really elevates the entire dining experience.

Every dish we had was a testament to the quality of ingredients and the passion behind each recipe. From the pasta to the seafood, every bite was fresh, vibrant, and full of depth. The wine pairing suggestions were spot-on, complementing the flavors beautifully.

Whether you’re looking for an intimate dinner or a relaxed meal with friends, Casa Tua is the place to be. It’s an experience that goes beyond just eating out – it’s about savoring every moment, every flavor, and every bite. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip...
