Mihama Seven Plex — Attraction in Chatan

Good location for visitors to take a break from shopping. Sounds good but screen and seats are average. Can get a beer to go with your film which is getting more rare. Has typical automated ticket counter or human service if needed. Ticket counter has easy english if needed but movie titles are still Japanese so know what your looking for

Mihama 7plex is one of the few options given for movie goers. As far as the decor, atmosphere, and location, it's not a bad theater. The main issue I have is that it is extremely outdated compared to stateside theaters and it's quite expensive. Movies shouldn't be more than 10 bucks per person, max. 7plex is almost double that. The tickets are way overpriced for a rundown, smelly, old everything (chairs, carpet, etc.) movie theater. The carpets look like someone was murdered on them. 2000¥ per ticket per adult. 450¥ for a large coke that they do not even fill to the top (I was told by a worker it was normal).
