A few things to consider here based on experience:
• 2 swings, 3 minute ride. • 2 swings made for small people, so if you have a jeans size 33 or up, expect 3 minutes of discomfort. • You have to buy tickets down at the tea house in advance. But by doing so, you do not see how busy the queue is. This is not convenient to the guests and you may feel roped in. • Therefor, be early, before noon preferably. Otherwise wait for hours in a queue with a ticket that is valid for that day while valuable vacation time is ticking away. • At noon, only 1 staff is present who plays the 3 minute song, helps guests with the safety belt and make photos if guests ask for it. Luckily when our turn came, they snapped excellent pictures and even warned that photos may have high contrast due to the sun in the background. We're thankful for that. • Some visitors will dole up a whole camera setup, so 3 minutes per visitor will turn up to 6 minutes. Can't really blame them for this one-time experience, but with only TWO swings, this makes the wait excruciatingly long. • If you have to wait in a long queue, make sure to have a hat or umbrella for shade and water to keep hydrated.
Verdict: Not really worth it if you are late and/or not built for it. The site has many places to make photos of Mt. Fuji. The swing is...

Due to the long queues and very hot summers, made worse by the clouds covering Mt. Fuji, we don't think this place is worth the wait. However, the English speaking staff we met there was very helpful, he helped us to take pictures and set up anything. FYI, don't forget to buy the ticket at the shop...
Read moreWe experienced a series of disappointing encounters with a staff member named 渡辺卓也. Instead of politely informing us about the photography policy when we entered, he chose to dismiss us outright because we were not wearing masks. We only later understood that this policy allows only the staff to take photos if two tickets are purchased, whereas one ticket permits personal photography.
Such an important detail was not made clear to us before purchasing our tickets and we were not allowed to adjust our purchase to a single ticket or to return to the line once we became aware of this rule.
Our dissatisfaction was further exacerbated by 渡辺卓也's conduct when we requested assistance in recording videos with our two cellphones. Rather than addressing our request openly and professionally, he covertly instructed his coworker in Japanese, likely assuming we wouldn't understand his...
