I recently visited a small cafe located on the top of the hill and have mixed feelings about my experience. The cafe is well-known for its dango, which is advertised as a must-try, but I found it to be underwhelming. I purchased both the soy sauce and soybean flavors, and the latter was particularly dry and hard to swallow. So, if you're planning to visit the cafe, you might want to skip the dango. The ordering process was quite straightforward, with a vending machine that took all the orders and printed out a receipt for exchange of the food. The vending machine had pictures and English descriptions, so it was easy to use. However, the cafe was very busy, and there were a lot of people waiting in line, as it was the only shop on the top of the hill. The highlight of my visit was the Japanese tea. Do not come here. We spent 1000 yen and took a slow, old cable car for 30 minutes just to come to this teahouse for a drink — only to be told it was closed when we arrived. There was no notice about the closure at the ticket counter. This is basically a scam to trick people into spending money and coming up. The facilities and scenery are terrible.
