It is on the ground floor of the Busy Kyoto Station in the heart of Kyoto city. It is on the terminal end opposite to the Kyoto City Tower. We came to the station in a Shinkansen from Shin Kobe station to Shin Kyoto Station. The station offers multiple connectivity options including local trains, city buses, expressway buses and tour buses. Cabs are also available in the premises. It has multiple shops that sell different food items including pastry, chocolates, japanese sweets, curios, meals and other items. The lighting is very pleasant and the stroll inside makes you feel as if it is inside a five star hotel. We can easily spend 30-60 minutes by just window shopping.
