The terrace made me very happy😊 There is a mini garden surrounded by breathtaking 270 degree panoramic views of the city. There are a few places to sit. The view is serene. I can’t believe such an amazing place is free. I wish it remains a hidden gem and never gets crowded. For people who like to observe - you can observe the railway tracks, temples, sunset, helipad, skyline Note: - It is at the 12th floor (RF) of Kyoto station. - Use escalators for a better experience as some floors on the way offer beautiful side-quest-like views of the city and the the final set of stairs have LED lights acting as a giant canvas with changing art - There are warnings of dangerous birds coming to eat your food if you eat in open and honeybees but none were sighted by us.

Worth the hike (escalators will get you most of the way up) if you’re not already scrambling for a train. Young bamboo and a clean cut lawn makes for a little oasis that hovers over the daily commuters. A 360 view from the 15th floor grants a fascinating perspective of the evolving city and the searching one...
