There was a long line next door for kaiten sushi, but really this restaurant is the one to go to. You buy a set with a main meal and it comes with a buffet for Japanese pickles of all sorts! My mother and I both got the tempura set and it honestly was the best tempura I've had that I can remember. The vegetables themselves were so good! I highly recommend for visitors wanting to try some other authentic...

So glad this place is open earlier than a lot of other storefronts for those of us with morning trains.

You can't beat 1,000 yen (1,100 yen after tax, about $7.25 USD) for free refills of miso soup, rice, and tea with all the pickles you can eat.

For the price paid and the quality plus portions of the dishes, it's well worth it. Careful with the black schimi flakes as they pack a good punch! They have set meals where you can get unlimited rice and miso soup refills for the big eaters out there.
