Tucked away in the B1 corner near the wine section.
This spot is clearly designed with tourists in mind… they provide cards that translate the menu into English and Chinese. A key house rule: each person must order one Mont Blanc. With the order of our Mont Blanc, it came with a complimentary drink and an additional small welcome drink. They’ll even let you know when they begin preparing your dessert in case you’d like to video the process.
While I haven’t tried every Mont Blanc out there, this is easily one of the best I’ve had. The limited-edition version (only 30 available per day) is outstanding… rich, deeply chestnut-forward, and incredibly well made. I also love that it’s not sweet making it so delicate to eat. We took our parents, only to find out all the desserts were sold out except for one. Then we were told each person had to order an item. We didn’t want four of the exact same dessert, so we politely asked if we could at least do one dessert with drinks or even takeout. The server, who couldn’t speak English and relied on a translator, flat-out told us no. Basically, unless all four of us ordered the same dessert, we had to leave. That’s ridiculous. So we walked out without ordering anything. We will definitely...
