Otaru is a fantastic date spot with lots of cute little places to visit. This spot has a neat little cafe that serves floats and light meals. Rustic atmosphere with 3 piano performance time slots every week Tuesday-Friday . The pianist played a nice medley from jazz standards, Chopin to Zelda and ghibli tunes.

There is a scent of burning petrol as the lamps in the store are fueled by kerosene. May be off-putting to some. Overall a nice...

Very friendly customer service; we were very tight on schedule and visited just 30 minutes before closing @ 18:00. Didn't check out until probably 5 minutes before closing but the staff were super patient and helpful. Wish that the store could open until a bit later; but almost all the stores nearby close at 18:00 as well.
