Really nice little park tucked away in the middle of a very urban area. The entire park is on a slope - it goes UP as you approach Tokyo Tower right next to it - and there is a really nice stream and small waterfall that runs through it. It is a great spot to take a short rest if you're walking... and if you're visiting Tokyo, you're probably doing some serious walking. I had my luggage with me because I hadn't learned about the 24 hour storage lockers you can rent all over the place... so my experience in this nice little park (and in Tokyo Tower, for that matter) was tainted by the fact that I was dragging along my 80 pounds of HOME with me everywhere.
That said - if you're walking through the area to get to Tokyo Tower, this is a terrific place to take a rest. It's scenic, relatively quiet, and relaxing. I forgot to come back and visit it when I went back to Tokyo Tower three years later, though... but we did come from a different direction, so... yeah. Anyway, five...

I approached the tower from several directions as I was staying close and I must say coming out of this beautiful maple tree forest and up to the base of the tower is an incredible sensation. I would highly recommend visiting after a stop to Tokyo Tower for a nice quiet recharge. The park provides some wonderful sneak peeks of the tower through the foliage and above all else is a great way to get some cool air in the shade of the trees in the warm humid...

Hub and I spent one of our morning reading with the view of Tokyo tower during our trip to Japan recently. It was a weekend and there were some families with children.
