inumo shibakoen — Hotel in Tokyo

First time bringing my doggy all the way from Singapore to Japan. After a 10hr flight (including a 3-hrs stopover at Seoul), we finally arrived in Tokyo. Booked the Inumo Shibakoen after reading all the positive reviews about it and we were not disappointed. This hotel is one of the most pet friendly hotel we've ever stayed in.

We've brought our dog to Europe twice and stayed in a number of hotels there, but never had we stayed in a hotel that solely caters to pets.

I'm not sure if all floors are pet friendly, but the rooms we stayed in was really wonderful. It's full of pet amenities and they even have a pet salon, groomers, indoor dog park and a kitchenette to prep your doggy meals.

The restaurant is also dog friendly as is the lobby. If you forget to bring any of your doggy stuff, I think you might find it at the lobby store. We were there during the Sakura season and the lobby was decorated with the Sakura theme as well. Met up with a roving artist who drew a cute portrait for my dog.

There's parking within the hotel itself, but it only has lots for 30-40 cars. So, if you did not manage to secure a parking lot, you'll have to park at the public carparks about 50m away. So, if you're staying here, please pre-book your parking lots.

Booked Inumo Shibakoen as it was touted as a Pet Friendly Hotel. Since we are bringing our poodle with us for a 3-week holiday in Japan, we decided to book this hotel after cancelling the Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay as it was too far away from the city.||As there are not that many pet friendly hotels in Japan, we were really happy that this hotel is indeed a Pet Friendly Hotel first, human friendly second......which is not a bad thing.||There are plenty of pet amenities everywhere around the hotel from the reception area, restaurant, car park and hotel entrance.||We stayed here for 5 nights and loved every minute of it. ||The hotel staff are friendly as are all the Japanese hotels. What sets this hotel apart from other hotels are the pet amenities. They have a pet salon, indoor dog-run, boarding facilities, pet photography studio, pet kitchen and a visiting pet artist.
