It is easy to access this park for you at the subway, it’s about 10 minutes walking distance from the Yoyogi station. This walk takes you through a quiet neighborhood of Tokyo, which I found surprising given how busy it is at other locations in the city.
It was recommended by the hotel concierge to see the Sakura blooms on March 15th.
The park is not ver busy. It apparently has 600 cherry trees, some of them of the early blooming kind called Kawazu-sakura (i’m told the these trees are prevalent at the Kawazu town located a couple of hours from Tokyo).
