When going to Sendagaya station from Shinjuku Gyoen's Sendagaya gate, you'll find the cafe first. Except for the cafe and another cafe(Cafe Renoir), most cafes and restaurants are slightly away from Sendagaya station. Therefore, it is one of the cafes most used by customers going to the station from Shinjuku Gyoen or Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. Although there are about 100 seats in this cafe(including terrace seats), it is crowded every day. You should remember that the crowds on holidays afternoon are terrible in particular. In some seats, a power outloet is installed. After customers order at the counter and receive drinks and foods, pass the narrow aisle, and take your seat. If you had secured your seat in advance, you should be aware that the secured seat is hard to see from the counter, although it is unlikely that theft or your seat will be intercepted. The cafe located under the elevated Sendagaya station, so the view from the terrace seats is not good. In addition, in summer, the heat around the cafe is easy to stay. I recommend you to spend...
Read moreOften come here after swimming, and it’s a real mixed bag (but unfortunately the only coffee shop in the area). Excellent location within striking distance of Tokyo Gymnasium and other facilities. Atmosphere inside is nice when it’s quiet but awful on weekends, especially when there’s any kind of sporting event on. Queues of up to 15-20 mins not uncommon to get a drink ordered. Store is generally pretty dirty, especially the toilets which are gross. Staff are young and can be a...
Read moreAlways a pleasure coming here. Staff is nice and service is quick. Always pretty clean and a nice atmosphere.
Only complaint is portion size/price. I know it’s a chain and standardized, I just wished they served larger servings of pasta— it’s like 60g of noodles, it’s probably a 400 kcalorie plate. So a man would need to eat 6-8 of these to hit his daily calories. More of a snack than a meal—which maybe that’s the purpose? But then they shouldn’t charge close to a...
