Garden Pool — Local services in Tokyo

With a steep price of 10,000 yen per head for non guests. The reception is busy, friendly but lack seating.

The stairs going to the pool side are steep, dark and wet at night. The smell also is off putting near the toilets. It smells moldy wet and of urine.

The locker rooms have a shower and a dressing area for those who don’t want to dress in front of other people. The shower has body soap and shampoo. No blow driers or any other benefits. They do provide gowns and towels. No rentals or anything… you are on your own with that.

The pool is okay. Beautiful at night with gorgeous colorful lighting and fun music. At day though, looks dated.

The seats in the summer time are almost all full during the day and especially during the night.

The quality of beach chairs are the poorest I’ve ever used. Very thin and flimsy. I could hear cracking sounds and stiff plastic. So uncomfortable

You aren’t allowed to bring shoes into the pool side and have to go barefoot. I saw some guests in there platform heels though… and no one bothered to point that out.

The life guards are plenty and we felt safe even during the busy season.

I wish they could improve some points like the stairs to the locker room. I wish they had at least railing on both sides. It’s dangerous for the elderly, people with poor eyesight and children. They should also improve the seating, and the smell and airflow from the toilet area. I wish they had lights not only for the main pool but at the children’s pool too. It’s so dark and desolated a striking contrast from the main pool.

Let’s not talk about the way to the pool from the hotel. Such a journey. An extremely long path and you know you’re near when you reach a shady road with trash. Lots of cockroaches too at night. Yikes..

For a premium price, you’re paying for the hotel name rather than the quality of the facility. I would choose to give it 1 star, but with the cool lights at night I’d give it 2.

Das Pool ist traumhaft und perfekt temperiert. Im Gegensatz zum New Otani Osaka muss man hier auch keine extra Gebühren für die Liegen zahlen, ein klarer Vorteil! Es ist auch viel größer und bietet zum Beispiel ein Kinderbecken und ein Sprungbrett. Es hat meinen Kindern und mir viel Freude bereitet hier zu schwimmen. Die Rettungsschwimmer waren sehr zahlreich und alle freundlich und haben nett mit dem Kindern agiert. Es gibt an speziellen Abenden die Möglichkeit bis Mitternacht zu schwimmen dann aber nur für Erwachsene. Sonst ist der Pool für alle bis 22...

お盆にナイトプール、ミッドナイトプールを利用。 入場料が1万円と値段のせいなのか(この期間は宿泊者も有料のようです)、人が居らず、ベンチもガラガラで窮屈感はありません。 ライトアップはきれいです。 設備面ですが、ホテルの浮き輪が2個程度しかなく、使いたくても使えない状態でした。持って行くのが良いでしょう。(自動の空気いれはあります。) 飛び込み用プールもあり、深さ3mと、なかなかスリリングでした。 バスタオル、バスローブはプールサイドにあるので自由に使えます。 ドリンクはプールサイドでも飲める様に店員さんが常にメニューを持ってウロウロしてくれています。ただ、ビールは2千円もするのにプラカップ提供というのが、とても残念。おしゃれなカクテルもプラカップです。安全性を配慮してでしょうが、これはテンション下がります。 ミッドナイトからのDJ云々の良さは分からず。 プールに併設されたレストラン(アウトリガー)は、立地、景色も良いですが味が、、。ハンバーガー3800円、カレー3200円。ホテル価格です。ハンバーガーはお値段の割に味はイマイチです。せめて添え物のポテトはチップスでなく、ポテトフライをつけて欲しいですね(カレーはお肉が結構入っていて可もなく不可もなく)。 更衣室は、シャンプー、ドライアー、化粧水...
