Trader2 — Attraction in Tokyo

One of the best places to go if you’re looking for cheap figures, not as cheap as book off but some are cheaper than the majority of the neighborhood even the opened ones… despite the fact that this store doesn’t offer tax free some of the items are pretty cheap.

Stock is quite volatile and you might want to check multiple times to find a good deal, I’ve visited this store quite a couple of times over the years and I always find something to get.

The store is quite small and you might find it hard to navigate when crowded with people with backpacks so be prepared to spend more time than planned looking around.

I can’t say much about the service as the setup is so chaotic I don’t expect the staff to be able to help customers find the hidden gem.

That said every interaction at the cashier I had was met with...

It's located off the main street and under the railway line. It's not as busy as the main strip but can still get crowded.

I mainly came for figures and they seemed to have some of the best prices in Akihabara. I am talking a few thousand yen cheaper for prize figures Vs some of the crazy prices on the main strip.

Stock moves quite fast so you can find some hot items that are sold quickly if you try to visit elsewhere to price check, so know your price points before visiting!

The staff at this place is terrible. After buying some games there, I had some questions about action figures. The staff ignored me, so I approached one of them and asked if he could speak English. He said no and looked very annoyed; I smiled and asked if any employees could speak English. At that moment, he looked at me and started yelling, “No! No! No!” I don't know what I have done to deserve that kind of behaviour, however I know that I won't be going back...
