There is not too much to this mid-Chinatown park, and on an everyday basis, taking a picture of the open air pagoda on the way by is sufficient. The ground is gravel and dust in the upper area with a large open courtyard and a fire station with one fire truck squeezed into the smallest garage possible. It is, however, a good gathering spot due to the wide open space, and occasionally there will be a small, not well advertised neighborhood event there, such as the very Chinese style (based on music style) Oban festival there on Friday evening, July 27, 2018. With only 3-4 tourists out of several hundred attendees, and 20-30% being local children, this definitely qualifies as what I call Level 3 (Level 1 are things everyone knows about, like Tokyo Tower, Level 2 are not in most tour books and require a bit of research using multiple sources, like a small, annual Noh play at a temple, Level 3 are things that usually require local assistance for a tourist to learn about such as a neighborhood historical marker or minimally advertised neighborhood festival, and Level 4 are not known to even most locals, such as a hidden historical area that is not an official or maintained attraction, but is forgotten and has started to revert back to its natural state).
