LVDM | La Vendimia Cafe & Salon — Local services in Borneo

It’s my first day in miri and i decided to look up “recommended cafes in miri”. As a coffee-hopping lover myself, i tend to be skeptical of all kinds of cafe, but LVDM caught my eye. Their marketing popped out as compared to others in town. Really different, great showcases of their drinks and food on their instagram. Absolutely amazing feed.

First off, the FOOD. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING x2. we ordered their beef bolognese. oh.my.god. so packed with flavors and slightly spicy! After that we had tiramisu and it was the best thing ever! No one could even come close or replicate this taste in west Malaysia. 🥹 the matcha was really KAW KAW enough ( unlike the over-watered matcha in the market 😬) they really do the best quality control here.

Then over to the atmosphere. Need me to explain more? 🥹 Couch was absolutely comfier than my hotel bed i just wanted to sleep there 🤣 The carousel displayed was absolutely stunning.

Price was really really okay for the quality and amount of portion. (2 person) Staffs were pretty friendly, fulfilling my request of taking photos of the tiramisu (i just can’t forget about it). i am coming back for sure the next time im in Miri. Do give...

It’s my second day in Miri. I tried finding this café yesterday using Maps but couldn’t figure it out. Luckily, I got it right today and it was totally worth it.

I ordered the shrimp avocado toast. It was warm, tasty, and really hit the spot. The only thing I didn’t like was the grated cheese; it had a bitter taste. I scraped some off, and after that, it was great.

Now the star of the show: the tiramisu. My god, it was amazing. Probably the best I’ve ever had. You can taste everything; chocolate, cheese, and coffee. All perfectly balanced. Nothing was too strong or too much. Just perfect.

The place itself is really nice. The interior feels cozy and well thought out. The staff greeted me right when I came in and were super attentive the whole time.

Definitely coming back if I’m ever in Miri again.

The tiramisu in this shop is top tier and prolly the best one in Miri yet. The shop is innovative and creative, merging the concept of modern day barbering whilst catering to coffee lovers alike! Furthermore, La Vendimia offers a quiet, yet “Instagramable” surrounding— perfect for anyone who wishes to do some work or have chill conversations with friends.

A well-rounded shop which I would highly recommend to cake lovers, coffee addicts, and just anyone who wishes to have a caffeinated haircut...
