We were seated right by the entrance, and none of the staff remembered to close the revolving door after coming in or out. The heat from outside kept pouring in, and we were basically sweating while sitting there because it was never cold. It's the first time dining at a relatively pricey restaurant and experiencing this kind of discomfort. We ended up closing the door ourselves more than 5-6 times, but the staff didn't seem to care. Next time, they won't bother closing it either when they come and go.
Fish and chips were very greasy, the paper underneath was soaked in oil. The pork chop tasted okay but the ingredients were very basic. Then, the two plates of chicken steak we ordered took nearly an hour for one to arrive, and the other, despite multiple inquiries claiming they were checking the kitchen, never showed up. We kept seeing orders for other tables being served slowly while ours, despite our reminders, never came. Eventually, we got too frustrated and directly asked to cancel. That's when they finally mentioned there was a mix-up in the kitchen's orders, but we had asked multiple times, so was it ignored? Was anyone checking if the order sequence was wrong? Six of us spent RM2xx and still ended up not feeling satisfied. It's honestly ridiculous. Definitely won't be going there for a...

Heres what we ordered: CHICKEN CHOP. It was a really decent chicken chop. Perfectly marinated and grilled. The skin was slightly crispy and charred which made it so much better. The meat was so juicy and I appreciated that they tenderized it before cooking it. The black pepper sauce tasted like instant sauce so it was a bit boring. Perhaps more freshly grounded black pepper and a bit of cream would help. The salad was nice and fresh with kewpie sesame dressing. A great dish to order if unsure.
PIZZA. Pizza toppings were tasty, filled with pepperoni, sausages and chicken bits. No complaints there. However, the pizza crust was really soggy in the centre and on the side it was dry, dense and bland. Perhaps changing it to a sourdough crust would really elevate the pizza.
MATCHA. The matcha tasted diluted and bland. It had more milk but wasn’t milky nor creamy.
Overall, the grilled chicken was the star of our dinner here. Hope to try other dishes in the menu and I will...
Read moreThis place was great at some point! On the plus side: Friendly and accommodating staff, although customer's complaints are handled poorly! Great location and ambience. On the down side: The food is cooked for Instagram nowadays, not for eating. Picture perfect, but at the expense of everything that it should actually be. For example the pasta that is so overcooked that is to the point of being indistinguishable from mashed potatoes. Tasteless food I can partially understand due to allergies and so on, but it has become a go-to excuse for lazy chefs. Very questionable choices of ingredients for classic dishes under the pretext that "they are being re-imagined". I would say either invent something new and stick to it or...
