I booked a low priced room from Agoda so I was given an old room with old furnishings. Apparently they have old rooms on level 1 to 3 and new rooms on the upper levels which have newer and better furnishings but cost more. All rooms have windows but nothing much to see outside the window. My double bed room has a kettle and glasses and mugs, a mini fridge, an old TV which has clear images and sounds but limited channels. Beside the local channels, there's Cinemax which keeps recycling old movies. The floor is fully carpeted but it's an old carpet with stains and a bit of smell. I love the closed door wardrobe with hangers and shelves. The room is spacious and there are two chairs, one has armrest and one doesn't. There are two bedside lamps. Bed is comfortable enough but pillows are a little hard, the bedsheets are clean but the duvet blanket is the old fashioned brown cotton type. The old air con takes long to cool but still works. The wall sockets are too far from the bed but there's a low table beside one of the two available sockets. Two small bottles of drinking water are provided daily. Two brown towels ate replaced daily. The shower is in the bath tub and has a curtain. There is no bidet but a dipper is provided. Water heater works fine and water pressure is strong. No hairdryer. Just basic soaps and toilet paper. There are two room cards, one to unlock the door and the other to access electricity, so I just left the other card on the wall while I was out. There are two lifts and a nice lobby lounge. No deposit required. Ample parking space in hotel compound. Quiet neighbourhood. A 24 hour coin laundromat is just across the road. Overall it is a comfortable 4 night...
