Food: too much rice in proportion to the amount of meat given per plate; prawns are not fresh + tiny. Very few choices given. In general, the dishes are awful.
Service: bad.
Too little meat were provided in the plate of curry rice ordered. Asked about it and the waitress just walked away in the middle of our conversation (rude) to discuss with her colleagues. She then came back with this plate of additional meat, somehow thrown on top of the table, without saying a word (rude +1). But look at how bad this meat looks (shown in picture attached): bloody, not appetising at all. It was not eaten nor touched.
Therefore, unfriendly service and this will definitely reduce customer return rate.
Environment: so called an “air-conditioned” shop but given that big space, counted as a two-storey, only one medium-sized air-cond is installed, the shop was fairly hot. No additional fans too.
In overall, bad food, bad service and a bad environment. Not returning ever again.

Read moreWelcome to mediocrity. If you’re looking for a food adventure, this is not the place. Siu Mai is mushy, no pork or prawn texture. Portuguese tart is so so, the Lala ginger wine Meehoon is ridiculously weak and not at all gingery and the flat plate used makes the dish cold fast. The polo bun has condensed milk all over it which is not what a polo bun should have. Thought they didn’t mind when I asked for more butter (compliments to them for that). The chicken feet was tasteless and had a burnt smell (not in a good way). The wanton century egg was not bad. The fried radish cake is cold and hardened. Over all this is a lousy place for good food. Just another jazzy place (meaning a food place that doesn’t care about excellence or making great food, has low low food standards).
Staff are nice and place is clean enough from the outlook. But never coming back. Plenty of better options to spend our money and get better satisfaction. This place doesn’t meet the basic...
Read moreThe place is clean and nice. Workers are friendly and attentive. Kopi (local coffee) is above average for Mirians… well their drinks are quite good actually. if you are there enjoying a relaxing Sunday morning having drinks and dim sum. This place is okay. Their dim sum is not bad. But the food, for the price, is really so-so. I ordered the big mixed curry rice. The curry is ordinary ‘Chinese style’, and the pork and chicken are just okay. Had another dish from the new menu. cheap sausage was served, sizzling pork was ordinary. The egg was the normal one, not omega enriched haha! The laksa is totally forgettable. Overall this place is worth a visit for local and foreigners. But the food is not up to the asking price. for locals who want good food or food worth the price, maybe Lao yang or ming garden is...
