Bear Garden — Restaurant in Sarawak

Went there for dinner one night. It looked nicer online than it was in person. Seems like more of a place to drink alcohol than to order food - menu was pretty limited. I ordered the chicken nachos and they were quite sad - literally some sort of Doritos-type tortilla chip that had powdered cheese on them, topped with what tasted like spaghetti sauce, a tiny amount of chicken and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese. No condiments were served with it. We don't drink and there was a very limited selection of non-alcoholic beverages. We ended up ordering orange juice which turned out to be just a sugary watered down "orange drink" kind of thing. Service was odd - our server brought the bill before our food was delivered (even though we were there 6 hours before closing time). I asked if we needed to pay now and they said we could if we wanted to, but we didn't have to. So we decided to wait to pay until we were finished, but then the server hovered over the table for awhile awkwardly. A few moments later they literally left the restaurant and we never saw them again. Another server brought our food instead; he was pleasant. My husband's chicken sandwich was decent, which is why this is a 2-star review...

Been to this place even before when it was relocated, i have to say the food quality has been below average. Ordered grilled lamb bits and we received fried lamb bits, got pizza with not the same cheese pull we got like before, fries too oily and not crispy, burnt fried chix and prawn tempura. Food disappointing as well as tge service. The new waitress are so slow to comprehend orders and request, also not alert with surrounding. Past and senior employees are better but only few remained now. I just want to request to improve the new employed employees service and...

This spot has become my go-to place every week! The ambience is cozy and welcoming, with music that’s always on point—never too loud, just the right vibe to relax or catch up with friends. The staff are super friendly and attentive, and the food is consistently good. One of the best parts?
