Taman Perpaduan — Attraction in Borneo

Formerly known as Reservior Park. Renamed " Taman Perpaduan" after completion of the upgrading works done a year + ago. Despite cosy upgrading work done, there is not much improvement of the Taman. This Taman is better than not having a Taman. Some foot paths (uphill or downhill steps) built with cements are slippery if wet or after raining. No picnic area is available. Restroom is available at rm0.20 charges per visit but not always clean and hygienic (handwash or tissues are not available). A small playground with limited equipment is available but is not...

Feel happy to see this park is finally opened to public after renovation works have been carried out for 1 or 2 years. As you can see from the photos, the wait worths it all. The iconic red bridge, the new fountain, the new name, and the new hands statue resembles the unity of Kuching people etc all make this park more exciting and attractive. One thing to be careful is the renovation works still ongoing and need to be aware of the renovation materials scattered here and there...

A lot section to be explore here. The traditional like building to show the multi racial and believe in Sarawak. I hope the also have few hawker stall here to sell some good and tibit.
