Lotus's Tanjung Pinang — Attraction in George Town

i order a sharp air purifier KCD40EW from Sen Heng Electronic Tesco Tanjung Pinang on the 14/09/2015 which cost which cost me RM2020.00 ( include plus one membership extended warranty , Doc No: B21*SON38676..plusone member :C0214062 )...the store sales arrange a date to deliver this machine,.. so i was taken day off to wait for it.. on that delivery date, i was waiting for it since morning till late afternoon, and then receive a call from the delivery guy mention that he not able to deliver since he went to Batu Maung instead of Batu Ferringhi,.. which is a totally unacceptable.. and i straight away ring that senheng tesco outlet to expess my unsatifactory, the same sales guy who sold me this machine apologise and rearrange another delivery on the spot . this time it is a chinese delivery who know my location batu ferringhi,,, and so after this inccident i really though senheng is pretty great shop to purchase from.. even purchase a Lg 4.1 soundbar + wireless woofer, philips electronic shaver, panasonic vaccum machine along with extra C-120 paper vaccum bag replacement too... until few weeks ago,.. like usual when i was cleaning the sharp air purifier KCD40EW, the humidifier filter tray is dirty, have to scrub off the dirt and water stain,.. one of the roller ( SHAFT NSFT-A022KKFA ) that support the humidifier water filter rolling felt into my kitchen handwash sink hole, it got flash away,.. after this, my sharp air purfier KCD40EW been encounter the Error E2 on the panel screen ever since, i guess short of one roller it is uneven,.. so i asking for help from senheng tesco tanjung pinang shop,.. mentioning this to the sales guy i buying from,.. he promise me to help me check from supplier whether such a part exist or have stock then he will get back to me,.. he get down my contact number,..i waited for so many weeks after,. didnt even get any reply, miss called or anything from him/that senheng shop at all,.. ( i even accidentally having lunch in the same food court where he is having a break ).... and bear in mind i did purchase extended warranty,. i know part of it is my own fault too,. but at the very least, he the sales guy could have say something also better than nothing, right ?? end up i need to google search sharp servvice centre in kl, and ring them myself to get a penang sharp outlet phone number,.. and penang service centre recommend me Nguan eletrical shop in macallum to order such roller ( shaft ).... and to my shocking expression, this shaft only cost RM4 per peices,..

my moral of story,.. this SenHeng Tanjung Pinang located inside the Tesco really only care for direct first time sales, probably due to high commission, and zero after sales services,.. also i am your plusone member purchase so many thing from you guys,.. this is how i deserve as plus one member,..

i directly so piss off about you guys,, even throw your plusone membership card into dustbin,... i guess i will bring my business else where they care about us for AFTER SALES SERVICE... i would rated zero star if there is...

It's been 4 years since starting to patronize this place; my observations are as follows.

Way before you approach the entrance, you are hit by strong wafts of stale cooking oil, presumably coming from the KFC kitchen, most off-putting!

Tesco's fresh meat, fruit, vegetables have always been a disappointment! The offerings never look fresh & inviting and there isn't any point in making comments regarding the state of the entire fresh food area during these 3 months of lock-down!! Dire!

It is a hazardous trek even trying to negotiate the aisles of dried, canned etc foodstuffs. The number of staff with cumbersome trolleys, obstructing the way piled high with boxes of stock replenishments, more often then not, in groups chatting away as if they were on a picnic, not busy stocking shelves!! Whilst we customers, with our baskets + trolleys are stuck, on a 1 way traffic scheme, avoiding them & allowing the opposite approaching customers to get through!! Every time I have been shopping there, the scenario is the same! Surely re-checking should be carried out before the store opens for business & after closing?!! This is the SOP in all other non-Tesco stores around the world...and come to reflect on this, on rare visits to other supermarkets, I have not come across such a ridiculous non-customer-friendly state of play!!

Be quite clear that my patronage at this Tesco store is not through loyalty or satisfaction for my hard-earned pension well-spent...but soley on the fact that it is the nearest large supermarket from my abode, where I can procure a minimum of 80% of my daily survival needs...notwithstanding the below par quality of the fresh foodstuff. Their chicken pieces have been known to smell yucky the day after leaving the store!! I rest my case. You asked for an opinion, do not feel insulted by the honest truth, shot between the eyes!

Lastly, if their staff-force were reduced by a large %, based on my regular observation of their lack of productivity without any visible sign of supervision by management, the store would save so much from non-productive salaries, which could be rolled back into giving the customer better quality & value...

This a like a small shopping mall. In the lower level you can find a big indoor food court, where you can get local dishes and also some western style dishes. You also get fresh fruit juice there. Than you can find Mc Donalds, KFC and a shake and Sushi. There is also a bakery, a doughnut shop and a small german restaurant. In the 1st floor you can find two shoe shops, a whatsons (it's an drug store), a pharmacy and some other small shops. And at the 2nd level there is a big d.i.y. where you can find tools, gardening stuff, toys, car stuff, hand craft stuff, household stuff, decorations and hair accessories and a lot more. And it's really cheap there. Then you will find two organc shops and Tesco. Tesco is a big supermarket where you can get neerly everything. You can find fresh things, like fruits, vegetables, meat and fish. Frozen grocerys, cosmetics, pastrys, and all other kinds of food. You can also find whiteware, household appliances and dishes. Toys, office stuff, and more. I like tesco because they have very often good promotions and you can get very cheap stuff there. There is also a big parking garage and a car wash service.
