We visited Game On on a Monday around 1 PM and were pleasantly surprised to find no crowd at all. It was easy and convenient to purchase tickets online m, RM34 per adult for weekdays. On top of that, we had to buy socks for RM7 and gloves for RM5, which are compulsory for the activities.
Before your visit, make sure to download the Game On app. Some of the activities require advance booking, and having the app helps to manage your time better while you’re there. It’s simple to use and really handy throughout the day.
They provide hair nets to be worn under the helmet, which is good but unfortunately, the helmets have a strong, unpleasant smell. The scent lingers and will stick to your hair even after you’re done. The harness are no better, they also have a bad odor and will transfer that smell onto your clothes. That was one of the main downsides of our experience.
There’s a designated space to place your shoes but take note: do not wear expensive shoes, as the area is open and not fully secured. For added safety, lockers are available to rent at RM6. It’s a good option if you want to store your personal items while you enjoy the activities.
Staff wise, we found the male staff more helpful and friendly. They greeted us with smiles and assisted us when needed. The female staff, however, didn’t seem as warm or welcoming.
Overall, we had a good time. The activities were fun but due to the smelly helmets and harness, we’re unsure if we would return. Thanks for the experience, Game On! A few improvements in hygiene and customer service could really...
Read moreLong queue to get tickets. Waited 30 to 40 mins to get tickets. The place does not has air con, just air cooler, poor ventilation. With the price for adults and children just simply cannot justify the value. Over priced! Overcrowded! Some stations are required to queue and play time were controlled by staff.
At little world station (station 4), a male staff was rude and skeptical when I was about to go up to 2nd level to look for my child. I was worried for my child (3-yr-old) as she went up for long. There are small "windows" designed to assist the parents to look out for their child. However, giving the angle from level 1 to view inside....really cmi. Is restricted view. I can't find my child. The staff claimed that only children 12-year-old and below are allowed to enter and no entry for adults. According to the website, the photo shown it is meant to be for aged 2 to 6. My question is, for the age group why parent or guardian are not allowed to accompany the child? Children safety cannot be compromised! Are there even weight limits for level 2? After approval given by the male staff, I was able to go up to look for my child. At level 2, I saw many children and adolescent age group. Im skeptical on how the crowd control and age group are managed?
Overall experience, my children feedback were... they enjoyed station 6, 8 and 10. too crowded, need to queue, too hot. They do not want to come back.
There are other indoor playgrounds in Toppen which are better in value and most importantly is fully air-conditioned that I would love to bring...
Read moreA Fun-Filled Visit to Toppen, Johor Bahru – With a Call for Payment Improvements!
Our recent visit to Toppen in Johor Bahru was a delightful experience overall, largely thanks to the incredibly helpful and friendly staff. While the venue itself is quite compact, it proved to be an absolute hit with the kids, who thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Considering the price we paid, it was undoubtedly great value for money.
However, there's one significant area where I believe a crucial improvement could be made: the payment system for tickets. It was a considerable inconvenience to discover that our card wasn't accepted by the online booking system, forcing us into the cumbersome process of topping up an e-wallet. This unnecessary hassle wasted precious time that could have been spent enjoying the facilities.
It's puzzling to me why direct card payments are not accepted at the counter for tickets, especially when it's perfectly possible to purchase socks, gloves, and snacks there with a card. What's the fundamental difference?
Allowing over-the-counter card payments for tickets would streamline the entry process immensely and enhance the overall customer experience.
Despite this minor hiccup, we had a fantastic time and would recommend it for families with young children. A more flexible payment system would truly make it a...
