Good ole Lot 10 is a five-storey mall located along Bintang Walk, central KL’s main shopping and entertainment district. One of the city’s oldest malls, it houses a mix of local boutiques, one-off concept stores and international brands.

A KL landmark, Lot 10’s location has been instrumental to its success. Sporting an easily recognizable, vivid green facade, extensive refurbishment at the beginning of 2012 saw the interior ditching its 1980s style. Today, inside the mall it looks a lot like Bloomingdale’s, with bold contemporary columns and lots of glass features. A sky bridge on the first floor connects the mall to the Bukit Bintang monorail station (which is adjacent to Lot 10). Maintaining the right balance between local and international style, Lot 10 provides visitors with a very intimate shopping experience. Similar to Bangsar Shopping Center, there is a limited variety of stores: Lot 10 has about 40 fashion labels running the gamut from international luxury brands such as Calvin Klein, Ed Hardy and Versace, to more affordable lines from Braun Buffel, H&M, Nike, Topshop, Timberland, Zang Toi and Zara.

Lot 10’s main anchor tenant is Japanese departmental store Isetan, plus it has shops where you can purchase a wide range of goods from home furnishings, to camera equipment and computers. Topping off the list of stores here is a hair salon, a rooftop brasserie, dance club, fitness centre and about five restaurants (including an all-day Japanese steamboat buffet eatery). When it comes to entertainment outlets, the mall has a National Geographic store on the third floor: it is a pretty cool place to take kids and you can get educational, do-it-yourself kits (like a build-a-miniature-volcano set) that will provide hours of entertainment. The topmost floor of Lot 10 is home to a branch of gym franchise Celebrity Fitness.

Lot 10’s list of food and beverage outlets where weary shoppers can recharge is limited – within the mall itself there are about five restaurants, plus there are massive chains such as A&W, Chatime, Haagen Daaz and McDonalds nearby.

If you would like to sample inexpensive local food, the food court on the lower ground floor has a good variety of Malaysian specialties available, but there are also quirky restaurants such as Jackie Chan Café and Teeq. The former is an open-concept café launched by the renowned celebrity and it offers a selection of teas, coffees, fruit juices and even wine. The latter (Teeq) is a rooftop restaurant with good views of the city skyline – there is even a garden between this eatery and Rootz dance club that serves as a for-hire venue for private functions.

Adjacent to Bukit Bintang Plaza, Lot 10 is set directly opposite Sungei Wang Plaza: there is a sky bridge which connects Lot 10 to both these malls. Plus this sky bridge also leads to the Bukit Bintang monorail station, which is also across the road.

To get to Lot 10, besides the monorail, you can hop on one of the inner city buses that will drop you off at the Puduraya Bus Terminal Station which is just down the road – from there the mall is just...

Lot10, oh boy, where do I even start? It's like a little slice of the universe decided to squeeze itself into this teensy-weensy space. It's so small, I swear they play hide and seek with square footage in there.

Now, inside this miniature metropolis, you've got a basketball court - because why not shoot some hoops while you're shopping, right? And then, there's a whole level dedicated to Japanese food that makes you feel like you've stepped into Tokyo. Venture further, and bam! You're underground in a Hong Kong wonderland, like some kind of time-traveling culinary explorer.

The ambiance, I have to say, is intriguingly pleasant. It's like Lot10 wants you to forget you're in Kuala Lumpur and transports you to another city and era.

Speaking of shopping, hold on to your wallets because this place doesn't house many big brands. But don't despair; you've got the fashion giants, Isetan and H&M, flexing their retail muscles and making it seem like they own the entire joint.

But for the other shops, well, they're what I like to call "itty-bitty boutiques." You know, those small Malaysian brands that thrive on modern fashion rather than the snazzy, high-end stuff like Padini. It's like a fashion paradise for those who like to stand out from the crowd.

And speaking of facilities, let’s not forget the quirky 50-cent fee to use the toilets. It’s like they’re testing your commitment to the shopping experience, making you reach deep into your pockets, literally, for a restroom break. Just be sure to have some spare change handy, or you might find yourself in a bit of a predicament.

In conclusion, Lot10 is the epitome of trendy high-class, like a posh playground for the fashion-forward. But beware, my fellow Malaysians, it's also a bit of a tourist trap. Expect to find things that might seem as foreign to you as a penguin in the Sahara. So, whether you're a shopping aficionado or just up for some retail roulette, Lot10 is a bite-sized adventure...

Lot 10 is a shopping complex within central Kuala Lumpur's shopping and entertainment district, Bintang Walk. It serves the wealthy and it is the equivalent of other city's high-class shopping such as Fifth Avenue or Knightsbridge in the 1990s.[1] Ever since its decline in late 1990s, it has since been widely considered as a middle-upper shopping enclave. Food galore! Or better, Malaysian food galore! This is the place to go in Bukit Bintang area to fulfill your cravings of Malaysian food. The price is reasonable for the quality, portion and service. There are more than enough choices for you to keep coming back, so whenever you're hungry visit this place. Some says that, Lot 10 doesn't have much to offer. However, it's not really its own fault. Being flanked by the prestigious Pavillion and the tech world Lowyat doesn't help its situation. The shops are inside aren't unique but rather shops any shopping mall would offer. The one saving grace though, is it's food court at the lower level. It offers some of Penang's finest (at least one or two shops do). So, if you're in Lot 10, you can always try the food. I love that this mall is keeping itself up to date, the new refurbishment making it looks very modern and pleasant to shop around. With its strategic location just next to both Monorail and MRT Station, it is very convenient for the shoppers. Now not only they have Hutong the famous food court, you can also pampering yourself with a parade of Japanese restaurants on the 4th floor.

Lot 10, Bukit Bintang: Where Architecture and Functionality Merge! 🏢📚 As an architecture graduate and travel reviewer, I was captivated by the ingenious design of Lot 10. This multifunctional commercial area seamlessly blends form and function, offering a vibrant and dynamic space in the heart of Bukit Bintang, Malaysia. What sets Lot 10 apart is its unique prime objective - a library, a true haven for knowledge seekers. The architecture is a brilliant testament to modern urban design. It welcomes visitors with a harmonious mix of contemporary and traditional elements, reflecting the cultural diversity of Malaysia. The presence of a library within a bustling commercial hub is a stroke of genius, creating a tranquil oasis for those seeking knowledge and inspiration amidst the energetic city. Lot 10 stands as a great example of how thoughtful architecture can elevate the functionality of a space. It's not just a shopping and dining destination; it's a place where design and purpose converge to create an enriching experience for all. A must-visit for those who appreciate the fusion of form and function in architectural design.
