Extremely Disappointed with the Iftar Experience
I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant during my iftar. I had made a reservation and placed my order at 4:49 PM. The staff assigned me a table at 7, but I kindly asked if we could change to table 2, to which she agreed.
We arrived around 6 PM to relax and wait for our iftar, and I noticed we were one of the earliest customers to arrive. When it was time to break our fast at 7:24 PM, we still hadn’t received our food. I understand that during Ramadan, food might be a little delayed, but after 30 minutes, I approached the counter to inquire about the delay. The staff said they would check.
We waited another 10 minutes, and I noticed that almost every other table had received their food. I went back again, and this time, the staff told me that I wasn’t there when the food arrived. They also said it wasn’t their policy to serve ramen early because it would turn soggy. This didn’t make sense, as I had been there since 6 PM and had been waiting patiently.
When the food finally arrived, another staff member mentioned that the food was delayed because we had changed tables and it was recorded in their system that the food should have gone to table 7. This made it seem like it was our fault, even though the staff had previously agreed to the table change. Moreover, the receipt clearly acknowledged the change to table 2.
Overall, I was very disappointed with the entire experience. As this was my first time visiting, I expected better service. I hope your team can improve on communication and service during busy hours like Ramadan. I will reconsider whether I would return after...
Read moreFrom their menu, diners can choose either to have the premium or natural soup. The difference - the premium soup will contain more collagen, hence richer and creamier, while the natural is like a clear consomme. Once you have selected the soup base, you can choose the flavour - shio (salt), shoyu (soy) or spicy miso. I wanted to try both the natural and premium soup, so I ordered a shio natural (RM14.90) and a shio premium (RM19.90). For us, the premium one is the way to go as the rich broth is the type of ramen broth we are accustomed to. I do know of people who prefer lighter broths, so by all means, try the natural soup - add in some chilli flakes for an extra kick. The soup is made by using chicken only (no pork), as well as ingredients directly imported from Japan such as Hidaka konbu, dried mushrooms, dried bonito, dried scallop and dried cuttlefish from Hokkaido and seaweed salt from Seto. Noodles are also certified Halal. We enjoyed the springy noodle texture and portions are good. The noodles are topped with beansprouts, spring onion, seaweed and a piece of chicken. The chicken was decent, moist with a smokey...
Read moreAlways come here to have my lunch, its halal and to be honest I prefer kagura than ippudo. Reasonable price and delicious. Spicy white ramen was very good, spiceness can acceptable, the chicken chasu also very nice, have some smoked taste. Gyoza also nice cuz it was hot and u can either dip with the sauce or yr soup also. New menu- spicy shoyu garlic ramen it was good but less garlic taste. But the services need to be improve more. Staff should be more passionate and always look around for customer. Sometimes I sit at the corner and want to order but the staff didn't look at me at all. And yesterday I almost finish my ramen but my gyoza haven't serve yet but the guests that late come than me their gyoza already serve, I think is the guys staff serve wrong dunno is bcz I am 1 person or bcz they're Malays so the staff treat them better😅(finally I ask a Malay woman staff and she check my order and call kitchen do for me)And my drink I said less ice then serve me full cup of ice.....very disappointed, feel like service getting worse. Combo set sometimes have sometimes don't have, a bit confuse. Hope can write...
