This outlet is a discrace to the brand and the staff really couldn't care less of their Customers. Their selection is constantly limited and staff wonders around chatting in their mobile phone's (literally all the time), watch videos when they are supposed to service Customer and even have the nerve to sit on the customer tables with work clothes on, arguing, playing, punching each other and making noise while the very few Customer try to enjoy their food.

I really like the concept & food in HotPot and the outlet e.g. in Midvalley is great. However, in LOT10 location I have now had to hear twice: "we have no chilies" and "we have no soy sauce". I mean, are you kidding me - you are literally located in a grocery store, inside of food court and even sell chilis yourself, so if you would really care, you would ensure the bare minimum of necessities are always available and if not ordered, at least bought from 10 meters...

I seldom write bad review but this is really really bad and really not recommended to others. Ordered 点点辣 but the food only taste 辣 like using tons of spicy sauce, totally no mala flavour. Addition to that, the soup was so bland till I wondering whether it’s a soup or just hot water used to soak the cutleries. I ordered 猪肚 but it was so hard that I thought I was ordering a chewing gum, but frankly speaking, a chewing gum is softer than this, totally can’t eat. Furthermore, the guys working in front desk were so grumpy till I wondering whether they are forced to work OT without any pay given. First time here but there was no guidance from personnel on how to order, asked one of the personnel but the personnel asked me to refer to the other worker, are they even working in this restaurant? Definitely my first time and also my...

Update 8/28/22: No matter how inconsistent the flavor can be, I still yearn for this place and come here at least once a week. I’m here again and I still enjoy this place. Ugh. It’s a love and hate relationship.

Update 8/8/22: Not sure what happened since my first time here, but the flavor has degraded drastically. No longer flavorful. Barely any sauce and it’s just sometimes salty, sometimes not. Quite disappointed and which they maintained their quality from my first visit.

Love, love, love. This is my first mala dry hotpot in KL. Very impressed with the selection. Easy to be made vegetarian. Only con is their complimentary soup on the side uses meat broth, so avoid that. One huge pot for 29 RM as it’s based on weight. Rice for about 2 RM per bowl. Can also use Watson Membership for 5% off. Hope...

Hotpot kitchen used to be my favourite Mala dry pot. I ordered Spicy fragrant (lunch set), which has unique and good taste but it wasn’t there for my recent order. Not sure if the change of taste is because they adjusted the recipe or it’s the branch issue, tho the portion seems to remain the same. To conclude, this visit has stopped my regular craving for hotpot kitchen dry pot. Probably won’t be visiting any branch for the next two to three months. [Update] Visited them again during lunch hour last month, and the hotpot was very nice, exactly the taste I like! I have no idea how come it suddenly tasted so nice again, but I waited for quite long for my food, around 20 minutes. Maybe that’s the secret ingredient, they might have higher chance to cook well when they busy sangat🤔

Ordered via Grab. Total order is RM53.71, I paid RM41.71 after HOTDEALS offer. The portion is so small for the price. I remember I ordered via grab from Mid Valley and Sunway Velocity, for single portion that amounts up to RM50, they used the big container. Double of this size. I didnt realized 4-6 pieces of thinly sliced chinese sausage costs RM6.9, same goes to luncheon meat, pork belly, taiwan sausage. It’s obvious that a RM50 order wont fit inside a small container. Is hotpot kitchen so cheap couldn’t give us the ingredients? I used to love Hotpot Kitchen but after this experience I’m never going back, there is so many choices in KL anyway. This is not worth my money at all. Maybe if you go to their shop and they have weigh everything on the spot, it will be worth your money.
