Central Park @ IOI City Resort is a newly established park located near IOI City Mall Putrajaya, adjacent to the Palm Garden Hotel. The park is open from 6 am to 10 pm. Access is primarily by car, as walking from IOI City Mall is quite far and dangerous due to the lack of pedestrian paths. Parking is very limited, often forcing visitors to park illegally on the roadside. The best times to visit are early morning and just before sunset since the park lacks shade.
The park features a looped walking path and is pet-friendly, welcoming visitors with their dogs and cats. Along the path, you’ll find a large children’s playground, badminton courts, basketball courts, skating and bicycle areas, and a pet playground. There is also a community space dedicated to gardening edible plants. Families of ducks can be seen roaming near the small lake. The park provides on-site toilets, a surau, and a shop selling drinks.
Overall, Central Park @ IOI City Resort is a fantastic addition for families looking to engage in outdoor activities near the mall, and it’s free to enter. Be sure to visit if you’re...
Read moreCentral Park at IOI Resort City is a commendable addition to the area, offering a refreshing green space for families, joggers, and pet lovers. The park boasts well-maintained walking trails, fenced-off pet zones, seating areas, and open lawns that make it ideal for casual strolls and outdoor play. Its pet-friendly policy is a major highlight—dogs can freely run within designated areas, while cats often enjoy lounging in the sun, drawing smiles and attention from passersby.
However, visitors should note that the park is still a work in progress. Some minor construction is ongoing, and the landscaping lacks mature trees, resulting in limited shade during peak hours. Additionally, signage and directions within the resort city can be a bit confusing, especially for first-time visitors.
Despite these minor drawbacks, it’s a promising green space. IOI has made a good attempt at building a recreational hub, and once fully matured, the park has the potential to become a vibrant, community-favorite...

If the park's parking lot is full, you can park across the road in the open space with the sign that reads "IOI Central Park Parking." Both parking areas are free of charge.
Follow the signs for the dog-friendly area, marked by dog paw prints on the ground. This will lead you to a fenced area where dogs can socialize and be off-leash.
Please remember to close the gate when entering or leaving the area. I've noticed some owners neglecting this and just walking off without locking it.
There is a water pipe for dogs to drink from, but we prefer to use our own water from home since the water there isn't filtered.
We also noticed some large piles of poop inside the fenced area and along the walking path.
If you see any owners not picking up after their dogs, please speak up. Let's not let irresponsible owners jeopardize this place for everyone in the future due to...
