My family and I are regular patrons at this restaurant. It is our usual go-to whenever we want to enjoy affordable steak and pasta.
I just want to write a shout out to Mr. Molin /Milon for his excellent customer service. He really went the extra mile to serve and assist us with addressing the glitch to redeem the Bite&Bites voucher. The voucher, when redeemed, apparently had a glitch where it says successfully redeemed at a different location (NYSS Aeon Mall Shah Alam). One plus-sized waitress earlier had redeemed it for us, but then claimed that the voucher can only be used at NYSS SA when she was the one that had keyed-in the redeem code for the voucher. On my part, I justified that the voucher redemption under the Bite&Bites app can be redeemed at ANY location, but then she again argued saying in can only be used in NYSS SA. How on the oval earth would I know about it when nowhere in the voucher mentioned it can only be redeemed in NYSS SA. The location only appeared after she keyed-in her code number on it. After that, the voucher on the Bites App then stated it is already used /redeemed. The waitress just left our table without solving the issue.
Luckily, Mr Molin/Milon was there to save the day! He must have seen our confused & clueless face lol. Not only did he rectified the situation, he also tried to redeem with another Bites voucher. Lo and behold, again the voucher said it is successfully redeemed in NYSS Shah Alam! That meant it is actually a Bite&Bites system glitch.
We are very grateful for his help. Without him, the free redemption of one ribeye would have been gone (boo to the earlier staff) :(. He also went over and beyond to serve us, always checking if we need more/anything else. He truly is an asset to the company and more staff should emulate his effort and excellent service. My wife ordered the "Loaded black pepper chicken rice (regular)" and myself ordered the "Smokehouse burger (beef)" waited around 20 minutes and my wife's food served, so I waited as usual, looking around dishes came out of the kitchen and being served to other tables, assuming some of them came before us, till it got to my nerve when its been 45 minutes and still no sign of the dish I ordered, called the waiter to inform that my food hasn't arrived, told it will be ready in 2 minutes, so it arrived...felt something unusual, the side of the plate felt so cold, started to inspect my burger, didn't touch the fries, the top part of the burger (bun) was so cold like they took out from the fridge and served as it is, the moment I lightly touched the burger patty, no surprise its cold as well, frustrated...called the waiter and complained about how my food served, gave them my piece of mind and returned and cancelled my food. Well, I had never believed that until I ate my dinner with a long face in the restaurant at this branch. First off, I really should have asked for a share of the service charge whereby I seated my family, I grabbed my dirty menus and I washed my washed but dirty cutlery. The kitchen spent long enough to prepare our food despite of its emptiness in the restaurant. So I was hoping the chef was trying hard to make a comeback by serving well-seasoned and marinated, "sabroso" steak and chicken chop. Of course I was terribly wrong. It is not worth mentioning about the food, but it was as horrible as you could imagine even though it was claimed the "Best Seller or Chef Recommendation". The food was not finished because we did not want to risk our Good Night's sleep spending in the emergency room.
