K-Jaya BBQ @ IOI CITY MALL — Restaurant in Sepang

I’ve been craving for a korean bbq set and THIS IS IT. Gworl let me break it down to you, everything here is sooooo good. The brisket, the duck??? The spicy bulgogi and the seoul bulgogi were my top pick soooo refill those as many as u can okie!

Let me list down things that I personally love about the restaurant;

1. Food & Beverages loooook at the main dish guys its so good, I promise it was appetizing as what youve seen in the picture, you’ll get the exact same kind of meat and food displayed in the menu. Do I even have to say about the drinks??? I ordered twooo including dalgona milkshake and the hausboom strawberry soda, after you ate all the hot meat, the drinks def will help you cool down. It’s a good mix I’d say. Alsooo the croffle too!! Ah sedapnyaaaaaa. Lapar balik ni.

2. Service I brought my sister w me for brunch here, we were there around 11am and the stafff were super helpful, they helped us deal with the stove ( multiple times bcs i am not touching that I’m too scared 😭 ). All in all, the service was top notch!

3. Ambience/ Surroundings It was pretty easy to locate the restaurant bcs its in front of famous amos and tak secluded like tersesat dkat any isolated areas. The ambience inside the restaurant was also lively. They had ootd spots and cute korean wall arts.

I’m rating this 10/10!!! Definitely recommended and will come...

Seafood Pajeon very crispy, not burnt. 5 stars. Seafood hotpot. Lala is fresh. Others not really but still edible. Doenjang taste prominent. 3.5 stars.

Beef in the kawan bbq set not very fresh. 3 stars. Sundobu jigae in the set very flavourful. a lot of tofu. 4.5 stars. Tteokbokki. my sister likes. sauce is thick and flavourful. Rice cakes a bit thinner than other shops so she like. 4.5 stars Banchan all are mehhh 2 stars. Not sure whether can refill or not.

Condiments boleh lah 3 stars. ?Gochujang sauce got mix with something to sweeten it abit.

Drinks from set- sweet giler. strawberry milkshake nothing to shout about.

Service not attentive enough despite not much patrons at the time (5pm). Already served the condiments, beef for bbq and the soup but banchan/rice/drinks all not arrived yet. needed to remind them to serve, really blur like sotong. Accidentally raised my voice because hangry already so my apologies to the crew for that.

I love Korean food, especially BBQ, so I was very happy to try K Jaya BBQ in IoI City Mall .

I went there with my family, and we ordered the 2-3 people meat set, We chose the sweet lamb, which was marinated in a sweet and savory sauce that made it soft and juicy. It had a nice balance of flavors. The set also comes with rice, soup, salad, kimchi, and sauces.

We grilled our lamb and ate it with the side dishes, which were also yummy and refreshing. The rice was fluffy and the soup was hearty. The best part of our meal was the kimchi soup, which was spicy and sour, and good for our stomachs. It had a lot of kimchi, tofu, and meat in it, and it was very filling.

We had a lot of fun eating and chatting at K Jaya BBQ. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the ambiance was cozy and lively. The restaurant was clean and big, and the price was okay for the quality and quantity of food.
