Underwhelming, rocky beach with misleading reviews.
Those who enjoy the walk should rate the Malecon instead.
Beach review: it is average at best. Entrance is rocky and past that it’s too deep enjoy, approximately where the waves crash. Neither adults nor children felt comfortable in the water. It is much better and cleaner south of the pier. If you have kids, go south.
Anyone who is well travelled will be disappointed.
