I accidently discovered this Museum when walking through the markets with my daughter. It is a small Museum, but an important one. No society thrives without women. It serves as a visual reminder to start more formally reminding people of the roles various women have played in shaping a village, town, city and country are important. People need to hear and see their work to remind them of the FACT that girls and women are capable to thrive and lead in all roles and areas of life. There are no second class genders.

At the time of my visit there was a fabulous exhibition of the artist Hafida Zizi who using a vibrant naive style depicts the daily lives of Moroccan women through her works. There is a small shop where you can buy these and other items like posters from past exhibitions. Special thanks to Ibtissam who provided a warm welcome at the museum's reception desk. I highly...

It is very touching to read about all these women and their achievements who have been overlooked and erased, now highlighted by this museum. There is also a fantastic small photography exhibition with stunning and such meaningful photographs by three women. I had a long talk with Siham who did the research on these women and I cannot express enough what a star she is. I hope her name, her story, and the work she doesn’t will never be forgotten, just like thanks to her these other women will not be forgotten. To the women who...
