A fine museum. Although, unfortunately the paintings gallery is undergoing renovations currently, there is still plenty to see. The buildings and the cloisters and garden are themselves magnificent and house some great sculptures and many of Toulouse's artefacts from many of the other old and former religious buildings of the city. The serried ranks of gargoyles that line one side of the cloisters are marvellous as are the medieval sculpture and carvings. Within the church lies the reliquary of St Augustine along with some fine religious painting by such luminaries as Van Dyck and Rubens to name just two. I look forward to returning to see the painting gallery following its renovation due in 2019.

One of the places my son and I have enjoyed very much. He even took a power nap there and I take the opportunity to tank one more time to the very kind lady at the entrance of the light room, for letting him sleep on her chair. This is an old convent transformed in a museum with a beautiful patio garden with heavenly smelling roses and other beautiful plants that give these place a short of calmness and tranquility that you could only find in a church environment. On the other hand all the sculptures and artworks around compliment the settlement very well and the way the artwork is exposed, displayed is just fab. Loved it! 🙏

This shouldn't be missed whilst visiting Toulouse. Well presented pieces, clean, quiet and friendly staff. Some really interesting collections, most info is written in french but for 2 euros you can get an audio device for English. Pictured us 'The Musée des Augustins' collection of Romanesque sculpture is composed mainly of remnants from the three most significant religious buildings in Toulouse: the Monastery of La Daurade, the Collegiate Church of Saint Sernin and SaintEtienne Cathedral.' aka a cool room.

A museum is always worthed a visita. Always! Interesting collection of art pieces. Look for art collections and activities of the Day at web site. It has a nice garden in the inside (I learn how a pear tree looks like!, as we don't have pear trees in Honduras). Take advantage of the first sunday of each month, since is a free entrance!

A lovely place and a lot of activities there. Most of them are free. You can be immersed in arts, claasic paintings and sculptures and also connected with the nature. There's a court at the center of the musem, all kinds of viggie herbs flowers and plants, with latin label. It would always be a visit of discovery. Highly recommended.

The museum is located in an old convent and it's a very beautiful gothic architectural gem. The collection is also beautiful with paintings and sculptures from the middle ages, a small collection but worth seeing The cafe in the ethrium middle of the building is also a plus. The museum is free and there was no waiting time.
